Hey guys! I'm back and slowly dying from classes. But enough about me. Let's talk about this new chapter y'all have been waiting for! Let's jump in and see how Rose is doing! :D

-Rose's POV-

I paced back and forth across my room, waiting for Tom to pick up. I walked out onto the balcony and leaned against the stone wall. I stared out over Mewni, feeling the wind against my face. There was a beep and Tom's voice recorder said, "Hey, this is Tom! I can't get to the mirror right now. Leave a message after the shriek."

A cat meowed and I looked up and smiled. "Hey, dude! It's me, Rose," I said into my mobile mirror. I walked back into my room and down the stairs, saying, "Anyway, just, uh, just wondering what you were up to."

I stopped at the bottom when I saw Glossaryck shaking a bag of chips in his mouth. I moved my mirror phone away from me and twirled my wrist. A long, sticky, glittery, purple hand appeared and I threw it. The hand slapped down on the bag of chips and I pulled. Glossaryck struggles against me and I said, "Glossaryck. No! Down! Glossaryck!"

I turned back to my phone and said, "I thought... I thought we could meet up for that corn shake. So, give me a call."

I closed my mirror phone and dismissed my magic. I walked over and grabbed the bag of chips. I pulled up and Glossaryck fell to the floor. I sighed and sat down on the floor, leaning against the bed frame of Star's bed. I opened the bag of chips and gave one to Glossaryck. He ate the chip and I grabbed another one. I stopped and realized Star and Pony Head haven't come back from the Town Square.

I shrugged my shoulders and ate my chip. There was a knock at the bedroom door and I looked up, confused. I got up and walked over to the door, opening it. Star and Pony Head stood in the doorway, both sweating bullets faster then a running faucet. I raised an eyebrow, "Hey guys? You know you could've just come in. And are you okay? You two are sweating a lot."

"What, me? Oh, I mean, that's ridiculous," Pony Head said, floating past me. Star smiled nervously and said, "We were just running a lot in the square. Nothing big."

Star walked past me, not making eye contact. I closed the door and turned to them. I glanced between them and said, "Uh... So... Anyway, I don't mean to dive straight into the issue, but Tom is acting super weird."

Star flinched and Pony Head started breathing heavily. I assumed it was because they were tired and said, "I thought things were going great, and then all of a sudden he-"

I stopped mid-sentence when I realized how much Star and Pony Head we're sweating. I looked at them and said, "Are you guys okay? You're ruining the carpet."

When they didn't say anything, I figure something happened. I crossed my arms and said, "Okay, what is going on?"

"What?! Ha-ha-ha!" Pony Head said, looking even more nervous. "Oh, you know, that is so funny that you would think to say a thing such as that, because I most definitely did not run into Tom, and definitely he did not tell me to not tell you what's going on."

Star sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. I looked at Pony Head and said, "Pony, what's going on?"

Pony Head pinched her lips together but suddenly blurred out, "Tom's getting a demoncism, and he told me you can't know!"

"Nice job, Pony," Star said, shaking her head. Pony Head gasped and said, "Oh, no. I'm unreliable."

"What?!" I said, shocked. Pony Head glanced at Star who looked at me. "So...we gotta go!" Star shouted. Star and Pony Head made a mad dash to the door but I summoned my purple sticky hand, shouting, "Oh no you don't!"
