The End of the Beginning (Part 1)

Hey guys! We're back with Rose and the finale of the show's main arc! I'm going to continue saying this but THIS ISN'T THE END OF THE STORY. Once this finale is over, the story will continue with one more arc. So stay tuned for that. Anyway, let's find out what's going on! :D

-Rose's POV-

"You're gonna destroy the magic? Is that even possible?" Marco asked us. Star explained, "I'm pretty sure if I say the Whispering Spell inside the magic, then poof!"

"Star, wait!" Eclipsa said. But Star walked over to Hekapoo and said to her, "Hey, Hekapoo. I need you to open the portals. I'm destroying the magic." Hekapoo looked at Star and snapped her fingers, "Yeah, sure. Blow it up."

"Wait, Hekapoo, you're made of magic," Marco argued. Hekapoo shrugged her shoulders, "Look, if I'm being honest, I always had the feeling the stuff did more harm than good."

Star turns to me and nods. Together, we both transformed into our Butterfly forms. We both raised a hand and the portal to the magic dimension opens. But before we could go through the portal, Moon and Eclipsa hurried over to us. "Wait. Star, Rose. W-W-What if we all go and fight Mina together? I mean, we've never done that before. Right, Moon?"

Moon thought about it and nodded. She held up her wand and said, "Yes. Four queens fighting for the good of Mewni."

I smiled a little, it was a nice thought. But ultimately, Star and I knew it wouldn't work. I shook my head, "Even if all four of us tried, you know we wouldn't be able to defeat her. Plus...w-we have to do this."

"Rose?" Moon asked. She reached a hand out to me and I moved away. She paused and pulled her hand back. She said, "I...I trust you. I know you don't trust me, but please know that I trust you and Star. Even if it doesn't make sense."

"Magic never does mom," Star added. She looked to Marco and said, "Marco let's go."

"Hey, I-I don't have a weapon, and that place is really dangerous," He argued. Hekapoo walked over and commented, "Why don't you use that big mole of yours?"

He then smacked him on the back of the head, making him wince. She added, "That thing really packs a punch." Marco glared at Hekapoo before muttering, "I'm gonna miss her."

He then grabbed the wand from Moon's hand, much to her and Eclipsa's. "Marco!" Moon protested. Marco held the wand out as it changed to his design. The same one from when I had gone portal jumping in my butterfly form. Marco said, "Oh, come on! It's the last time I get to use this thing."

"You've used that before?!" Moon asked.

"That doesn't matter; we got to go," I said. I looked to Star, who stared at the portal nervously. I took her hand, reassuring her. She smiled and asked, Marco, "You ready?"

"Uh, wait-" He said. Marco took my hand so that I was standing between the two. He looked at me and then at Star. We all smiled as I said, "Let's do this."

We all stepped through the portal. There was a moment of weightlessness as we went through. Then we stepped into the gold liquid of magic as we entered the Realm of Magic. I changed back to my normal look and nudge Star to do so. She shifted back and, as we all let go of each other's hands, Star said, "Time to destroy some magic."

Marco pocketed the wand as Star and I stepped forward. We knelt down in the water and I said, "We just gotta get in and out and not lose my memory."

It was then we started hearing a weird noise behind us. We looked and saw Marco eating a cup of pudding. I blinked, "Wh-Marco! What are you doing?! Did you seriously bring that pudding?"
