Hey guys! We're back with Rose as things are becoming a little harder for her and her family. How will this go? Let's jump in and check on Rose! :D

-Rose's POV-

"I don't know," I said, sighing. "I feel so weird. I have so much on my mind, and I can't talk to my family about it. I don't think I can talk to anyone."

I covered my face with my hands, feeling like crying. It's been a few days since the trial and neither Star or I had been okay. Star right now was helping Marco with Glossaryck while Tom and I had so alone time to talk. But...it's been difficult to talk about anything. Tom already knew a bit about my mom and what that meant for me, and being the next queen of Mewni instead of Star. But ever since the trial and learning that from Festivia to Star and I, we weren't part of the royal family. It was all a lie and I didn't know how to wrap my head around it.

There was a moment of silence before Tom awkwardly said, "Oh! Yes, you can! You can talk to me! Right? Yeah. Yeah, th-th-that's a thing that boyfriends do, right? Listen! Yeah! I'm all ears. I mean, technically I'm mostly eyes."

He chuckled and I lowered my hands, smiling a little at his joke. He placed his hand on mine, saying, "Just talk to me."

I looked at Tom, who gave me a reassuring smile. I looked back down at our hands and sighed, "Well, you see-"

"ROSE!"

Tom and I flinched as Marco and Star came running into my part of the bedroom. Marco was waving a piece of paper, as Star shouted, "Buff Frog is gone!"

"What?!" I said, rushing over to them. Marco handed me the letter, saying, "We found this letter for you in his office. Look." I looked over the letter, reading every word of the letter. After reading the letter, something about it seemed off. My eyes widen as I realized something. "Wait a second... This letter is legible! Buff Frog didn't write this note!" I said, looking at Star and Marco.

"Exactly!" Star said. I nodded, and ran over to my side table, saying, "Let me get my necklace then we can leave!"

Ever since the trial, I had been wearing my necklace less and less. I didn't feel like I should be wearing it. I wasn't future queen anymore, or even a princess. So...why wear it? However, this was an emergency so I could make an exception. I grabbed it and put it on, feeling the magic course through me. I curled my hands into fists and rushed back over, saying, "Okay, guys that's enough bickering! C'mon, Marco, Star, let's go!"

I summoned Cloudy and jumped onto his back, waiting for Star and Marco to join. But Marco said, "Oh! What do you know? Glossaryck is escaping again! That nimble little rascal!"

He took Glossaryck out of the baby holding strapped on him, and tossed Glossaryck down the stairs. My eyes widen and Star gasped. Marco started pushing Star towards the stairs, saying over his shoulder, "Uh, uh, we gotta go catch him before he starts trouble! Sorry, Rose! Tom can go with you instead!"

I smiled a little, seeing what through Marco's act. I looked at Tom and said, "Okay, Tom. You ready?"

"Yup!" He said, hopping onto Cloudy. Cloudy flew out of the doorway and off the balcony, heading to Buff Frog's house. In about fifteen minutes, we reached Buff Frog's house. I dismissed Cloudy and Tom and I went up to the front door. I knocked on the door, saying, "Buff Frog? Buff Frog?" The door slowly opened and Tom and I gasped. The inside of the house was a mess. Toys were strewn about and the furniture was leaning. Even drawings some of the frog kids did were lying on the floor. Tom and I stepped inside and I went to the children's room, seeing if there was any sign of the frog kids. "This doesn't look right," I muttered. I cupped my hands over my mouth and shouted, "Buff babies?"
