Hey guys! We're back with Rose and Star during one of my top five favorite episodes. But not those two, we have another special character today. Above is a drawing of ShadowCookie's OC, who was one of the winners of the drawing contest. Anyway, without further ado, here is the next chapter! :D

-Rose's POV-

"Rose! Hurry up!" Star shouted up to me. "Our cousin is going to be here any minute!"

"I'm coming," I shouted, slipping on my white, rose petal boots. I rushed down the stairs of my room and ran out of the room with Star. We both ran down the hallway, skidding around corners and sliding down stair railings. We reached the front door of the castle just as a carriage pulled up. Aunt Moon and Uncle River were standing at the bottom of the steps. "Girls! Where have you been?" Aunt Moon asked.

"Sorry, I was having trouble finding my boots," I said, lifting my foot. Aunt Moon rolled her eyes as Manfred announced, "Her Majesty, Lady Shadow Cookie Butterfly."

The carriage door opened and a girl about our age jumped out. She had shoulder length, bright blonde hair and caramel eyes. She was wearing a light gray beanie on her head that had a light blue bow in it. She was wearing a dark blue, long sleeved shirt that wrapped around the shoulders instead of over. She wore a light blue short dress over the shirt, with a yellow star on it and also a orange hoodie wrapped around the waist. She had on purple tights with orange stars on it. She also had white and orange boots similar to the ones Rose had on. To top it all off, she had on her black square glasses and her Mewni cheeks were chocolate chip cookies.

She smiled at us and said, "Hi guys!"

"S.C!" Star shouted, rushing over to S.C. She gave her a big hug, practically picking her up from the ground. S.C hugged Star back, though she looked as if she was losing air. I rushed over and tapped Star on the shoulder, "Our cousin needs to breath."

"Oh, right," Star said, putting S.C down. Shadow smiled nervously and said, "Thanks for giving me air again."

"Star, Rose," Aunt Moon said. "Could you show your cousin where your room is? You three need to get ready for the ball tonight."

I internally gasped; I forgot that was tonight. Star's eyes twinkled and she said, "Sure mom! Come on, Rose. Let's show our cousin where our room is."

Star rushed ahead and S.C followed after her. I followed after them, but slower then the two. The more I thought about the ball tonight, the more worried I became. The neighboring kingdoms would be coming for this dance. One of them was the Lucitor kingdom. And there was a certain boy of that kingdom coming. I lightly pressed my fingers to my lips, the ghost feeling of fire still there. I shut my eyes tight and shoved the memory away. I quickened my pace up the stairs and burst into the room. I marched past Star and S.C. Star gave me a confused look as I went up the stairs. "Rose? What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing! Everything is just peachy," I said, marching to my part of the room. I jumped into my bed and pulled the covers over my head. I closed my eyes and curled into a ball. I ignored Star and S.C's calls and questions. I felt tears streaming down my cheeks as the memories of that day and the Blood Moon Ball came to mind. For once, I wish I had permanently forgotten those memories. Maybe it would've made thing better. And by accident, I fell asleep.

-Time skip-

"Rose!" S.C shouted. "Wake up!"

"Waffles for breakfast?" I muttered, sitting up. I felt my hair was a mess and my eyes felt heavy from just waking up. I rubbed my eyes and said, "S.C, why did you wake me up? I was only asleep for five minutes."

"No you weren't!" She shouted. "You were asleep for five hours! The ball is going to start in an hour!"

I froze and blinked. I looked at S.C and realized she had changed clothes. Her hair was up in a bun, and she had borrowed one of Star's tiara's. It was gold with a blue gem in the center. She had one a dark blue sleeveless dress, with light blue ruffles at the bottom. She wore elbow length gloves to match and shoes to match. She had on white tights and a simple gray gem necklace. S.C crossed her arms and said, "You need to get ready. Go take a shower, Rose."
