Deans POV

"We still got the hex bags. I say we head back to the panic room." I say. "What, forever?" Ruby asks. "I'm just thinking out loud!" I shout. "Oh, you call that thinking?" Ruby says. "Hey! Hey, hey, hey. Stop it." Sam shouts as he gets between us. "Annas grace is gone. You understand? She can't Angel up. She can't protect us. We can't fight heaven and hell. One side maybe, but not both. Not at once." Ruby shouts.

"I know a safe house not to far from here." Ana suggests. "Uh...guys. The angels are talking." Anna interrupts and we turn to her. "What are they saying?" Sam asks and she closes her eyes. "It's weird...like a recording...a loop. It's says, Dean Winchester gives us Anna by midnight or..." she says then stops. "Or what?" I ask and she opens her eyes. "...or we hurl him back to damnation." She finishes.

"They...they can't do that!" I yell angrily. "Do you know any weapon that works on an Angel?" Sam asks her. "To what? To kill them?" She asks and Sam nods. "Nothing we could get to...not right now." She tells him.

"Okay, wait, wait. I say we call Bobby. We get him back from hedonism." I say as Sam turns to me. "Dean, what's he gonna tell us that we don't already know?" He asks me. "I don't know, but we got to think of something!" I shout. "I think I have a an idea." Ana says and we all turn to her.

"You sure this plan's going to work?" I ask Ana as we head upstairs in Rufus's safe house. Ruby and Sam are in the dining room reading some books, and Anna is wandering outside.

"It's the best with what we can do. Given the circumstances." She says as she takes a few steps ahead. "But what if it fails?" I ask and she stops, her eyes flashing red as she turns to me. "Why are you doubting me? If Anna was the one who came up with it, you'd be all over it." She sneers and I furrow my brows at her.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask her and she scoffs. "Oh, c'mon, Dean...ever since Anna came along and you found out she was an Angel, you've been all over her." She accuses. "No, I haven't." I say defensively. "Oh really? You seemed really chummy with each other back at Bobbys." She yells and I frown at her. "I find it odd and hurtful that you won't talk to me, your fiancé, the woman you've known all your life, but yet you'll talk to some random you just met. Who, by the way, is not a good person, and she clearly fancies you." She says.

"It isn't what you think, Ana. You know I would never hurt you." I say. "Oh really?" She asks sarcastically as she folds her arms over her chest. "Then what is it, Dean? 'Cause here's what I'm gathering. Ever since you came back, you've been slowly pulling away from me to the point where you won't talk to me unless it's about a job. And now we get involved with the job of a fallen Angel, and you've been getting close to her the more time you spend with her." She says as I look at her for a moment before lowering my gaze.

"You're not even going to deny it?" She asks, her voice shaking with tears. I stay silent as I look up at her. "Ana, I..." I stop and she scoffs. "Wow. Thank you for proving my point. Unbelievable." She says as she walks away into a room, slamming the door shut behind her.

I lean over the hood of the Impala, studying a book thinking over the argument I had with Ana, when Anna comes up to me. "Hey. Holding up okay?" I ask her and she sighs. "Trying." She says. "Yeah." I mutter. "A little scared, I guess." She says as I go back to reading but I can get our argument out of my mind.

"So, um...Dean...I just wanted to thank you." Anna says, interrupting my thoughts. "For what?" I ask as I turn to her. "Everything. You guys - you didn't have to help me-" she says and I shake my head. "Hey, let's can the thanks for trying speech, you know? Participation trophies suck ass." I grumble.
