Anas POV

Me and Dean both sit in silence, pondering over what happened with Sam. We had returned from the motel to Bobbys house and told Bobby what happened...well, I told him. Dean hasn't spoken much since we left because he probably don't know what to say.

The whole drive back, me and him sat in silence but I placed my hand on his thigh. He lowered his right hand and I thought he was going to push my hand of but he took my hand in his and held onto it tightly. I ran my thumb over his knuckles and the two of us stayed like that until we reached Bobbys.

Deans POV

"Dean? Dean! You listen to a word I said?" Bobby asks me. "Yeah, I heard you. I'm not calling him." I say stubbornly. "Don't make me get my gun, boy." Bobby threatens and I turn to face him. "We are damn near kickoff for Armageddon. Don't you think we've got bigger fish to fry at the moment?" I ask him.

"I know you're pissed. And I'm not making apologies for what he's done, but he's your-" he starts to say but I talk over him. "Blood? He's my blood, is what you were gonna say?" I ask. "He's your brother. And he's drowning." Bobby finishes.

"No, damnit! No. I gotta face the facts. Sam never wanted part of this family. He hated this life growing up. Ran away to Stanford first chance he got. Now it's like deja vu all over again." I yell as I sit down. "Well, I am sick and tired of chasing him. Screw him, he can do what he wants." I growl.

"You don't mean that." Bobby says and I look up at him. "Yes, I do Bobby. Sam's gone. He's gone. I'm not even sure if he's still my brother anymore. If he ever was." I say as Bobby leans on the table fuming. After a moment, he makes a big angry sweep with his hand, tossing books and papers onto the floor. He advances on me making me stand.

"You stupid, stupid son of a bitch! Well, boo-hoo, I am so sorry your feelings are hurt, princess! Are you under the impression family's supposed to make you feel good?! Bake an apple pie for you maybe? They're supposed to make you miserable! That's why they're family!" Bobby yells at me.

"I told him, 'you walk out that door, don't come back' and he walked out anyway! That was his choice!"  I yell back at him. "You sound like a whiny brat. No, you sound like your dad. Well, let me tell you something. Your dad was a coward." He sneers. "Oh shit." I hear Ana mutter as I glare at Bobby. "My dad was a lot of things, Bobby, but a coward?" I say questioning.

"He'd rather push Sam away than reach out to him. "Well, that don't strike me as brave. You are a better man than your daddy ever was. So you do us all a favour. Don't be him." Bobby says firmly and I turn around to stare back out of the window before I feel myself called from Bobbys house.

I turn around, only to find myself in large, lavishly appointed room. The walls are painted white with gold trim and accents, and a marble table stands in the centre. "Hello Dean." A voice says behind me and I turn to see Castiel. "It's almost time." He says and I furrow my eyebrows at him.

Anas POV

"Well, what now?" Bobby asks as I sit down and shake my head after Dean had suddenly disappeared. No doubt the angels doing. "I don't know, Bobby. I wish I knew what was going on..." I groan, feeling my head getting heavy. "You okay?" He asks me and I sigh, shrugging my shoulders. "Honestly, I'm not sure anymore. Sam's drinking demon blood, Dean is the angels little bitch and me...well, I'm a freak with glowing eyes." I say.

"You're not a freak, sweetheart." Bobby says softly. "I'm exhausted, Bobby. I can't remember the last time I slept properly and I'm worn down. With everything that's happening...it's just too much." I say looking up at him. "Sorry, just ignore me." I say and Bobby sits down in front of me, grabbing my hand in a fatherly way.
