Chapter 44

Jessica's POV
well today is the day that we see if Sarah can breath by herself. Two doctors enter the room and one of them remove the oxygen tube from her nose. When the tube is removed her breaths are harsh and quick, I panic thinking that something this going wrong, but the doctor beside be gives me reassurance telling me that it was natural. After a minute or so her breaths become lighter and less frequent. Then she begins to breath properly as if it were to a rhythm. "Well Miss Lange, she sure is going to be okay for now, if she maintains health by tomorrow we will be able to try and bring her out from the coma" he says smiling then both doctors leave the room.
"You hear that baby, you're a fighter, and you might be able to wake up tomorrow!" I say squeezing her hand. Whilst I'm reading the rest of Sarah's book to her I hear someone enter the room. I look up to see Ryan standing there with flowers. "Hey Jess" "hey Ry" I reply. "How's my Lana Banana is she pulling through?" He asks. I chuckle at the name she was given then I fill him in on all of the details.
"So shall we go over hotel scripts?" He asks "sure!" I say and he hands me a booklet that says René Bosworth at the top. "So I'll play Sarah's character, Ellyn Rousseau" I nod and we begin reading lines.
"Shut it you disgusting cow!" He snaps "you can't do this to me Ellyn, I love you!" "You killed my husband!" He shouts.
We carry on with our lines until Ryan has to leave to pick up his son from day care. When he leaves I finish reading Sarah's book then I go to the cafe to get some food and I return to the room. When I've finished eating I get dressed into my pyjamas and I pull two chairs opposite each other so I can lay on them and I fall asleep next to Sarah.
