Chapter 65

Sarah's POV
once I've finished in the bath, I slowly get out and dry myself.
I put on a pair of leggings, a long sleeved baggy top and a black cardigan.
I have a snack then I make my way back to the hospital.
"I'm here to see Mrs Lange" I say to the receptionist. "Of course, she's down the hall to the left on room 32" she smiles. I thank her then I make my way to Jess.
I walk in and she's taking a nap, so I decide to get some coffee and to have a look at Kai.
"Excuse me, could I please see Kai Lange, he's the premature newborn" I say. "Who are you to the family?" The doctor asks. "I'm Mrs Lange's wife" I say. The doctor approves and shows me to where little Kai is sleeping. Just watching him sleep restlessly makes me so excited to have a baby of my own. I know that there is a lot more than this, and that she will be trouble and so will Kai, but we will get used to it. We will make it work.
I go back into Jessica's room about ten minutes later and she is awake. The doctor is in her room with a wheel chair. "Where are you going?" I ask. "Im going to feed Kai" she says then yawns. I follow them both back to the room I just came from. The doctor takes Kai from the incubator and makes sure that his oxygen tubes are still in the right place then he hands him to Jess.
Kai takes her boob strait away. "He's getting used to it now" I say. "Yeah, I guess he is" she smiles.
"Sarah, we need to talk when we get back to the room" she says with a serious tone. "Uh, okay" I say.
