Sarah's POV
Jess has left for a while to go have a shower and clean up. I hear someone come in but I don't know who it is. "Hey Sarah" an unfamiliar voice says. "I'm your nurse, Laurie, imma give ya a bath" a woman says. She has a similar accent to misty day. She sounds quite young, and has a sweet voice. I feel her pick me up and lay me on another bed and she wheels me somewhere, I'm guessing the wash room. I hear a door lock and she picks me up and sits me in a bath. The warmth comforts me. I haven't felt this good in a while. I feel a wet sponge on my arms then on my legs. She washes everything else then my hair. I feel her fingers run over my scars which send a sweet sensation through me. She gasps at how many there are.
"1...2...3...4..." She starts counting them. "...22...23...24" I want to pull my arm away. I feel so ashamed. So ugly. I just want to run away, but I can't, I'm stuck here.
Once she's finished, the bath empty a and she begins to dry me then puts a hospital gown on me. She takes me back to my room and lays me back down.
Whilst she's putting the covers back on me I hear the door open again. "Hello miss" Laurie says "morning" my visited replies. I have no idea who it is, but the voice sounds familiar. "I'll give you privacy" Laurie says. The other woman thanks her and I hear her walking over to me. She waits until the door is closed until she speaks. "Hi Sarah" she says nervously. Who is she? "You probably can't hear me, so I guess this is a good time that I can get things off my chest without you actually hearing me. God Sarah, I can't believe you're in this state, how could Jessica let you get like this?" I begin to get angry, don't talk about my wife like this, it was not her fault, it was mine!
"I'm so sorry for leaving you baby, I love you and I have never stopped loving you.." When she says this I know exactly who it is.
Cherry?
