Sarah's POV
today is the day that I finally get to go home. The doctor walks in and hands me two bottles of pills. "What are these?" I ask. "Well the results came back from the test you took and it has been brought to our attention that you have depression and anxiety. You will need to come back when the pills run out and you will need to come back for regular check-ups so we know how you are getting on" he says. "O-okay thank you doctor" I say and I put them in my bag.
Jess comes in carrying Ava in her car chair. Ava is dressed in a light pink baby grow and she is wrapped in a small blanket my mom knitted for her which is white and has pink ribbons on the edges.
I sign out of the hospital and Jess drives us home. "Hey baby when can we take Kai home?" I ask. "In four days!" She says excitedly. When we arrive home it's peaceful and looks exactly the way we left it. I put my bag on the kitchen counter and I notice a letter. "It was addressed to you so I didn't open it" Jess says. I open it up and take out the price of paper hidden inside.
"You'll pay" it read.
