Jessica's POV
Kai's tiny hand gently grips my finger making me smile. He lets out a little noise which makes me and Sarah chuckle. Once he has finished drinking Sarah asks if she can hold him.
"Hello Kai baby, I'm your other mommy, and I love you just as much as your real mommy does." She smiles down at him letting him grip her finger. "He's so adorable Jess." "I know" I reply.
He begins to cry and Sarah's eyes widen. "What did I do?" She asks shocked. "Nothing sweetie, he is just tired that's all" I say.
Five minutes later the doctor comes back to put Kai back in the incubator.
Since Kai started to cry Sarah has been silent. "What's wrong?" I ask when we get back to my room. "Nothing" she says. "Yes there is, is it because Kai started to cry when you was holding him?" I ask. She nods yes. "What if Ava is like that with me? What if that was because I did something wrong? Oh I'm going to be an awful mother" she says clearly stressed. "No you won't, you're going to make a great mother I'm sure of it, he was just tired that's all, you don't need to worry, you will make an amazing parent" I explain.
