*Sarah's POV*
After Jessica, Hannah, Walker and Shura catch up they make their way back into the waiting room, knowing that I'm going to bring in the children.
*play music here*
"Jessie, I've got two people here dying to see you" I say holding Kai in his carry basket with my mother behind me with Ava.
I place the carry basket on a chair and take Kai out. "Remember this cutie?" I ask and her eyes light up. "Kai, yes, yes I remember him" she says sitting up, holding out her arms. "You do!" I squeak. She holds him close to her as if this was the first time she's met him.
The joy is overwhelming. She remembers something.
"Is that Ava behind you?" She asks and I can't help but tear up a little. Jeez I'm so emotional lately.
*Jessica's POV*
I hold Kai tight, I don't want to loose him again. My baby. Sarah is sat next to me cradling Ava in her arms.
Kai wraps his tiny fingers around my forefinger. I love this little guy so much.
"I love you Kai, yes I do baby. And I love you just as much Ava" I say brushing my finger against her cheek. She gives me a toothless smile making my heart melt. "Adorable."
"I'm so glad that you're the mother of our children Sarah, they honestly couldn't have a better mother. And I know that for a fact. You're so special, to them and to me." I smile and she begins to tear up.
"I'm never going to let my babies go again. I'll never be able to forgive myself for letting you out of my sight."
A rock Kai back and forth making him drift off to sleep. He yawns which is the cutest thing ever. Just as he drifts off to sleep a nurse comes in telling me that it's time for my bath.
*slowly turn down the music until its mute*
Sarah takes Kai from my arms and puts him back in the baby basket carefully, making sure not to wake him.
Her mother sits in the chair next to where Ava's basket is placed and she keeps an eye on them as Sarah and the nurse help me out of my bed and into the wheelchair. "I'll walk down there with you" Sarah says kissing my hand and taking control of my wheelchair. The nurse walks in front of us showing us the bathroom.
