*Jessica's POV*
I hear a gunshot coming from upstairs then another followed. Shit.

I carry on walking around the house, I can't hurry upstairs because I could get caught. I hear the cries coming from a baby and I rush in the direction of where the sound was coming from. I peep around every corner before I turn in order to make sure that nobody sees me.
I turn the corner then I feel something tight wrap around my neck, like a rope, and I'm pulled backwards. Whoever is behind my moves closer. I can hear their heavy breaths close to me. I have an idea.

"Please don't hurt me I'll do anything" I whisper seductively. Their breathing slows and I feel it on my neck as the grip around my neck loosens. Their hands travel down my sides.

All of a sudden I harshly snap my neck back, head butting them.  "Ouch" I whine. That doesn't hurt people in the movies.
I undo the pocket knife and lunge it behind me. I feel it digging into flesh and they drop to the floor groaning. I turn around and come face to face with the man who I supposedly slept with.

"You motherfucker" I laugh. He's lying there in a puddle of blood from where I stabbed him in his torso. Fucker deserved it.
I'm not quite sure why, but I have a gut feeling that he has done something worse than this to me or to someone that I know. But i can't think what.

I search him. No phone. No ID. But he did have a gun and keys. "This will come in handy" I smile to myself and walk away.

For some unknown reason the number eleven comes into my head. Eleven what?
I think about it for a while and I remember hearing someone say that eleven people have escaped but I cannot recall who or where from.
I let it go and carry on searching for the two children.

I hold the loaded gun in my right hand with my finger on the trigger. I need to be quick in order to survive.

I hear crying again, but this time they were not the cries of young children. They were the cries of my Middle aged wife. I follow the noise which leads me upstairs.
My eyes widen when I see here there on the floor covered in blood. "Jess..."
