Lizzie's POV

October 1st, 2023

We were all waiting for the birthday girl to arrive. Y/N had really gone full out for Brie's birthday. Although, I was surprised by multiple things. First, the house where the party is being held at is actually Y/N's mansion. It so big and pretty. I always said she has good taste for real state and interior design.

Second, by talking to the different people that were invited to the party, I found out that Brie had thrown a huge party for Y/N earlier this year, since she didn't get the chance to attend the party I organized at Maxwell's last year. Apparently, Brie had performed the song 'Black Sheep' from 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World', dressed as Envy Addams and everything. She made one of Y/N's dreams come true, that's why Y/N has been planning this party since that day, trying to live up to the standards that Brie had previously set.

I was not only surprised, but also shocked I was even invited. After what happened with Y/N, Brie and I talked and decided to stay friends, but we're not best friends like me and Clay, Aubrey, or Kathryn. When I got added to the group chat as well as received the digital invitation, I was a bit hesitant about attending or not. But, after talking thoroughly with Scar, Chris, and Aubrey, I decided to come.

I was so happy about the fact I was going to see my Angel again that I totally forgot a tiny detail. When I arrived at the house, Katie was the one who greeted me at the door, and it took all my strength not to turn around right there and go back home. She was so nice and look pretty much excited about the fact I was here, apart from looking absolutely stunning, that I had to stop myself from saying anything mean and accept her kind greeting.

However, in difference of the Angel thief's reaction to my arrival, my Angel's wasn't what I expected. When Y/N saw me, she ran away in the opposite direction and disappeared. She didn't say hi or even dare come close to me, and I haven't seen her ever since. I thought we were okay, but then I remembered how I treated her the last time we saw each other. Stupid Lizzie, how could you forget you practically yelled at her that you aren't okay with her moving on?! Of course she doesn't want to be near you.
