Lizzie's POV

March 22nd, 2024

Today is the band's concert in Lyon. This is the last date here in France before they go and perform in Spain. After Date #6 and our amazing family weekend, I had to go back to LA to finalize some contracts of a few projects I'm participating in as well as film more reshoots for 'The Assessment'. I'm truly excited for everything that is coming up for me, and I can't wait for my fans to see it.

Once I was done with my responsibilities, I didn't hesitate to go back to Paris to see my sweet girl and accompany my Angel while they travel for the tour. As I said earlier, today is the concert in Lyon, and Y/N made sure that Cassie and I had the best seats so we could watch her performance. Apparently, she has some kind of surprise planned for tonight, and I think she's about to announce whatever it is.

"How are you guys doing so far? Are you okay? Your throats aren't hurting yet from all the screaming you've been doing?", Y/N asks the audience through the microphone before loud screams and cheers erupt around the arena. "Well, you certainly aren't tired, but that's good. I actually have something to share with you guys", Y/N starts, and she looks towards the pit where Cassie and I are sitting. "You know, I don't usually get personal in settings like this, but I have a confession to make. I'm...in love", Y/N announces, and the people at the venue go wild after her revelation. At her words, my eyes shoot out in shock, and I look at her a bit worried. Is she about to tell the whole world we're dating? The idea of it doesn't bother me, I just would've liked a heads up from her beforehand.

"What are you doing?", I mouth her way, but she just sends me a smirk before speaking into the microphone again.

"It's weird, isn't it? Most of the songs I've written talk about heartbreak, but recently, I've gotten a sudden boost of inspiration to write about love. And that is all thanks to one person. It is all thanks to my only muse, the love of my life, the woman of my dreams. She has made me clumsier than normal, sappier than anyone can get, and has got me totally on my knees for her. She's also responsible for officially and permanently putting me off the market", Y/N tells the audience as they continue to cheer, and others boo at Y/N's words. My Angel just laughs at the reaction along with her bandmates. "Anyway, this girl has totally rocked my world, and I think is about time I gave back the favor. I wrote this a couple of weeks ago and recently recorded it. You guys should feel very lucky as the first fans to ever hear it. It will officially come out next Wednesday, but for now, I hope you enjoy 'Always Been You'. I love you, Princess. This one is for you", Y/N finishes her little speech as she turns around and tells the band to start playing their brand-new song.

"Pwincess Lizzie, dis song is fow yous!", Cassie tells me excited, yelling more than necessary thanks to the loud crowd and the set of noise cancelling headphones she's wearing.

"Yes, sweetie. Your Mama always has a surprise prepared for me", I reply as we both look back to the stage, feeling pumped about Y/N's performance. She and I lock gazes, and Y/N smiles big at me before winking and blowing a kiss my way. She's such a flirt.
