Y/N's POV

December 20th, 2023

"What we doin', Mama?"

"Well baby, right now, Mama has a meeting for one of the superhero movies she's making, but it is going to take a while. That's why I'm taking you to the office's daycare. In there, you'll get to play with other kids while Mama is working"

"Like at the fostew home?"

"That's right, Casserole, just like at the foster home. I promise it will be for a short time only. I'll try to be super quick, so once I'm done, we can go get all the things you want for your new room. Are you okay with that plan?"

"Dat plan is supa dupa, Mama!", Cassie agrees to our plan for the day, making me chuckle softly at her adorable antics. We continue to walk hand in hand through the Marvel Studios' offices, when suddenly, I hear my baby gasp, which makes me bring us to a halt. "Pwincess Lizzie!", Cassie screams her lungs out before letting go of my hand and waddling full force towards Lizzie.

At the sound of her nickname, Lizzie stops whatever conversation she was having with a group of executives before looking to the side and smiling big at the sight of my daughter. She immediately crouches down and opens her arms wide before engulfing Cassie on a tight hug.

"Aw, my sweet girl. It's so nice to see you", Lizzie says with a smile while standing up with Cassie still in her arms and swaying them softly side to side. "What are you doing here?"

"My Mama bwought me hewe. We r' gonna live togeda now, in LA", Cassie tells Lizzie with the brightest smile, causing her to giggle in response.

"Oh, well then, I'm so happy you and your Mama are finally together, because now I'll get to see you more. I missed you", Lizzie says sweetly as Cassie just hugs her once again.

"I miss'd you toos, Pwincess Lizzie", Cassie tells Lizzie, making me awe at my daughter as they stay embraced in each other's arms. While they talked, I joined them and just admired their little interaction in silence. When Lizzie and I met gazes, I felt this strange feeling in my body, as if something was pulling me closer to her.

"Hi Lizzie", I greet her softly as she pulls away from Cassie's hug and sits her on her hip.

"Hi Y/N", Lizzie greets me back, and we just stare at each other for a while, comfortable with the silence that engulfs this moment. Out of nowhere, I just leant forward and left a soft kiss on Lizzie's cheek. This made both of us blush as neither of us were expecting my actions. I just did it because it felt...right. "Uh...it's nice to...to see you. What...what are you...doing here?"

"Oh, uh...I actually have a meeting about the reshoots for 'Captain America: Brave New World'. They told me it's going to be very quick, but I didn't have anyone to look after Cassie, so I brought her with me. We were on our way to the daycare center when she...saw you", I explain to Lizzie as she only nods in understanding before going back to looking at my daughter, who is rather entertained with Lizzie's necklace.

"That's awesome. I had a meeting too, for some promotional pictures and possible future projects. But I already finished, although, it was a good thing I stayed behind since I got to see this little ray of sunshine", Lizzie comments referring to my daughter as she giggles happily in Lizzie's arms.
