Lizzie's POV

February 16th, 2024

I was peacefully sleeping when my phone started ringing. I'm sure I turned off my alarms since I'm on vacation, but the phone hasn't stopped ringing, so I just reached for it and opened one of my eyes to see what the reason for the interruption of my beauty sleep is. That's when I saw Y/N calling me, so I pressed the answer button and put the phone over my ear while I lay back again.

*Start of Phone Call 📞

L: Yes? What is it?

Y/N: Well, good morning to you too, Princess. Did I wake you up?

L: Yes, you did. Why are you calling me this early?

Y/N: Princess, it's 10 AM.

L: Wait, really?

Y/N: Yeah. It seems you haven't gotten used to the time change yet, huh, my sleepy baby?

L: Yeah, I guess you're right. Anyway, you didn't answer me. Why are you calling me?

Y/N: Because I got worried after you didn't show up for breakfast, so I made sure to get you something and come check on you. I'm outside your room.

L: Oh, okay. Give me a second. I'll go open the door.

Y/N: Okay, see you in a second, Princess.

L: Okay, bye.

*End of Phone Call 📞

I hung up the phone and got out of bed before walking towards the door of my hotel room. I swing it open, and I'm met with the most beautiful sight ever. My Angel looking absolutely sexy, looking at me with her dorky smile, carrying a couple of bags in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other.

"Hi Princess. May I come in?", Y/N asks me softly as I nod at her request in silence. She walks past me inside the room, and I close the door carefully before turning around and walking towards Y/N. After she settles everything over the room's desk, she turns around to see me and I don't wait for her to say anything, I just go and hug her close. "Well, hello there. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just wanted to have you in my arms again. It's been very long since I last did", I tell Y/N easily as she looks down at me confused.

"Princess, I was here last night", Y/N tells me with a chuckle, making me whine and nuzzle further into her neck.

"It doesn't matter. I still missed you", I mumble against her skin before leaving a couple of kisses on her neck and jawline. I feel how her skin gets instant goosebumps thanks to my actions, but she doesn't pull away or comment on it, she just hugs me tighter and leaves a couple of kisses on my cheek and forehead.

"I missed you too. I couldn't fall asleep last night after I left. I always sleep better with you in my arms", Y/N says, making me get out of my hiding spot to meet her gaze.

"Oh yeah?", I ask with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.

"Yeah", Y/N admits easily.

"Well, same here. We should do something about that", I tell Y/N while wiggling my eyebrows comically and sliding my hands down her back to rest over her butt. I give it a small squeeze before Y/N starts laughing at my actions.
