I could tell that you miss me
Your eyes give you away
I know you can't resist me
So tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me

Did You Miss Me? - Olly Murs

Lizzie's POV

A year later

"Come on, what's taking so long?! We've been waiting for 20 minutes already! We're going to freeze to death", Mackie whines to everyone while we look forward and see the long line in front of us.

"Stop complaining, Anthony. We will get inside eventually, and we're still missing Brie and Emily anyway", Scarlett explains but she only gets more whines in return.

"But we're cold!", Sebastian says in a child-like voice.

"And we're hungry!", Evans whines as well.

"And by the time we get inside, there won't be any tables and we will be so tired from standing up, we won't be in the mood to dance", Paul Rudd explains, and Scarlett and I share a look before chuckling at the boys' whining.

"Guys, don't be so negative! You're supposed to be the ones hyping up the night. To think you four pressured me to come tonight so much, and now you're acting like a bunch of party poopers", I joke with them, and they all look at me offended.

"Hey! We're not party poopers!", they all snap back at me and the ladies in the group along with me start laughing at the scene.

"You have to be patient, boys. We'll get inside eventually. First round is on me, okay?", Kevin offers and they all huff, but still accept his offer and continue to sulk between each other.

"Hey, I'm actually glad you came tonight. I know you're not very fond of crowded places or big parties, but I'm happy you got out of your house and came to have some fun with your best friends", Scarlett tells me fondly and I just give her a small smile.

"Yeah, I'm glad I came too. With the hectic schedule I've had lately, I'm glad I get to relax for a change", I express my feelings and Scarlett gives my arm a soft rub. "I am sad that Aubrey couldn't make it though. I'm gonna miss her tonight"

"You're so right. She knows how to party for sure, but you're still seeing her tomorrow, aren't you?", Scarlett asks but before I can answer her, the loud roaring of a motorcycle causes for us to stop talking and shift our attention towards the vehicle. I don't know much about motorcycles, but this one is really pretty. It looks high quality, and the monochromatic black makes it look classy.

The driver parks the bike and swiftly gets off from it. They make sure the motorcycle is rightly parked before taking their helmet off. With a couple of movements and a few finger-runs through their tangled hair, the driver manages to arrange their helmet hair, making them look really good. The whole scene looked like out of a movie, all in slow motion and with background music.
