Only Girl - Stephen Sanchez
Lizzie's POV
February 4th, 2024
It has been a month since I announced to the world that Robbie and I got divorced. Marla had arranged for one of Entertainment Tonight's reporters, who is known to be respectful about this kind of matter, to do an interview with me.
I was really nervous about what I would say, but Y/N was there to support me, and she reassured me that I just had to be honest, that even though Robbie is an ass, there was still a way of explaining the fallout of our relationship without giving out too many details. Robbie wasn't happy about me doing the interview alone, but this put an end to his threats and our communication once and for all.
I also ended up sharing the news about my sexuality. Y/N was particularly scared about this and asked me many times to think it through, and not to do it just because I felt pressured or like I owed something to my fans or to her.
The truth is, it was really important for me to share this part of my life with everyone, especially when I intend to share my relationship with Y/N publicly in the future. I made sure to explain these reasons to her, and even though she was still worried about the aftermath of it all, I could see Y/N was actually very touched by my motives.
After the interview went live though, Y/N made sure to keep me occupied at all costs. She took me to every single one of her studio and filming sessions and invited me to hang out with Cassie and her. She also visited me on set and took my phone away so there was no temptation for me to check out social media or the news. It was really cute seeing her pretend that her actions weren't because she wanted to protect me, but I still appreciated them very much.
Today are the Grammy Awards and I'm accompanying Y/N and the band. To say I'm nervous is an understatement since today I'm not only going to my first public event ever after the divorce announcement, but I'm also going as Y/N's plus one.
"Oh my gosh, you look...so hot", I hear my Angel say from behind me as she enters the room.

"You are one to talk. You look amazing", I comment back as she puts her arms to her sides before doing an adorable little twirl.
