Lizzie's POV

March 9th, 2024

It's been three weeks since Y/N and I had our first kiss after we got back together. She certainly outdid herself with the whole concert setup, but it just made the moment a million times more special.

The next day, Cassie, Y/N and I went to the beach and spent all day together, swimming, building sandcastles, playing volleyball and defeating Y/N's winning streak, and eating lots of ice cream. We took many pictures, Cassie ate my leftover birthday cake, and Y/N and I made sure to give the other plenty of kisses since that was the last day we would be together in a long time.

After that amazing weekend next to my Angel and my sweet girl, Y/N had to fly over to London for the first few concerts of the tour, and of course Cassie had to go with her, so I just went back to New York alone. But as soon as I arrived, I had to pack once again to join my sisters at Paris Fashion Week. I had forgotten that they had invited me months ago, but I was more than happy to go with them and spend some sisters' quality time.

Now, even though I've been having plenty of fun with my sisters, I can't help but miss my Angel. She's been rocking it over at the tour. She makes sure to call me every time she is about to go out on stage and as soon as she's done performing. She also makes sure to send me many pictures of pretty much everything she does. My phone is full of photos of her doing dorky faces and poses with Cassie, the band or just herself. I truly love her silly side. She manages to make me smile so big.

Today actually, Y/N is in town. She has two concert dates here in Paris and then one more date over at Lyon before she travels to Spain and stays over there for two weeks. Then she has a couple of concerts in Portugal. I'm very happy for her and the fact that she's working so hard to keep her dream alive, but with both of us being in different parts of the world, working on our dating life has become a bit difficult.

Now, that doesn't mean I'm just going to wait until we're reunited back home. I promised her that during this second chance, I would be the one working on the romance and dates to make her fall in love with me again, so that's exactly what I'm going to do. That is why, with the help of Julie, I managed to sneak inside the band's soundcheck today so I could steal Y/N for the rest of the weekend to enjoy a well-planned date.

"Hi Lizzie", Julie greets me with a double cheek kiss.

"Hi Julie. Thank you for doing this for me", I thank her while we walk further into the backstage area towards the side of the stage.

"Don't mention it. I'm more than happy to help you make my mate happy. You two deserve to be together, and I can see you're really trying to make her fall in love with you once more, so it doesn't cost me a thing to support you", Julie tells me softly as we share a small side hug. "But is not like you have to try so hard. My mate Y/N is a total simp for you already", Julie comments teasingly, earning soft laughs from us.

"Thank you for saying that. It means a lot to me to see that the people Y/N considers her family are supportive of our relationship and are still looking out for her. I know you mean a lot to Y/N, so knowing you're all in on us being together once more brings me so much peace. The only thing I truly want is to make Y/N very happy, and if I get to be with her and love her in the process, my life would be complete", I tell Julie as she looks back at me with a soft smile.
