Lizzie's POV

May 10th, 2024

It's been two weeks since the band finished the first half of their second European tour and we were able to come home. As soon as we arrived though, Y/N got back to filming her fifth movie, which she is directing and starring in once again. This meant she will be staying over in New York while filming lasts, so that's why we've all been here helping her move to our new apartment.

Now, you may be wondering, why did Y/N move when she could've just stayed over at her loft? Well, I thought that was the plan since she and Cassie are the only ones that will stay here while she's filming the movie, but according to Y/N, we are together now, so we deserve a big enough living space for our family.

I was skeptical about it at the beginning, but then Y/N pointed out it would be rather convenient for us to have our own place for whenever we work locally or are visiting family. So, we ended up moving all of Y/N's things over to a bigger apartment, one with at least two bedrooms with doors, for more privacy of course. Slowly but surely, we managed to get everything we needed for it, and Y/N even let me add some stuff to decorate what we now call one of our many homes.

However, after unpacking the last few moving boxes, Y/N started to act pretty weird. She has been distant and less affectionate with me. Her routine the past week involved waking up very early, getting ready, and leaving for work before Cassie or me were even awake. She leaves me notes or texts telling me how her schedule will be for the day, but that doesn't make a difference since she arrives home past midnight anyway.

I know her work is important, but her behavior was rather strange, and I was growing worried, so I talked to Zoe to verify Y/N's schedule, and indeed, she has work until late hours in the night, but Zoe mentioned Y/N changed her working hours the same day she started acting weird.

What truly concerned me and hurt me a bit was that whenever I stayed awake and waited for her to get home, Y/N would tell me that I didn't have to do that and to just go to sleep. And when she finally got in bed with me, she wouldn't cuddle me or kiss me. She wouldn't even come near me.

Everything brought back some PTSD from when we started fighting before we broke up. I truly don't know what I did to upset her, but I really need to have a chat with her about what's going on. That is if I catch her free at some point during her 'very busy' schedule.

Today is my sister Courtney's birthday. MK is hosting a sisters' get-together at her house to celebrate her, and I really wanted Y/N to come with me so I could introduce her as my once again girlfriend, but as per usual, she told me she had stuff to do and wasn't joining us. She said to excuse herself with my family and left a small gift bag with Courtney's present before leaving the apartment, without uttering another word. She didn't even kiss me goodbye.

I am still shocked and a bit mad to be honest thanks to her attitude towards me, but I don't want to accuse her or come off as toxic for wanting to know what's going on with her. I really don't want to fight with Y/N; we've been in a blissful state for so long, I don't want to ruin that.

"But Lizzie, if you say you didn't do anything, why don't you just ask Y/N what's going on? I don't think she will react badly if you tell her that you two need to talk. I think she would actually get worried about herself once you throw in that famous 'partner in trouble' phrase", MK tells me once I finish sharing everything that has been going on with my Angel.
