I've been engaged for officially a week, and I couldn't feel happier than how I feel today. Everything has gone blissfully ever since my Angel proposed to me, not just in our relationship, but also in my career.

This week I had the very first press event for 'His Three Daughters'. It's just a Q&A panel after a screening of the movie, nothing big or extravagant, which I'm thankful for, but this meant that I had to travel over to New York for it. And, as you can guess, me and my Angel had to be away from each other once more.

It's only for a few days since, after this, Y/N and I will reunite over in Toronto to attend another fundraiser for the foster home. While we're there, we're also going to hang out with Y/N's family. My Angel promised me that she would finally take me to play hockey as well as ice skating, and to see the street art gallery she wanted to show me all that time ago. I'm so happy that even after what went down between us, Y/N hasn't lost the illusion of showing me the most personal and intimate sides of herself. I'm also super excited we will get to do all these fun activities, especially when we will have our daughter along for the ride. We're going to have the best time ever.

I was just looking at my Instagram while we waited for the movie screening to end so we could start with the Q&A. Alongside me, my dear friends and co-stars Carrie and Natasha and our director and friend Azazel were also waiting with me in the greenroom, chatting loosely between themselves. I, on the other hand, was reading a few of the comments from the post Y/N did to announce our engagement.

I laughed at some of the insane things my fans say. Sometimes I'm even more thankful that I left social media and that I'm oblivious about certain pop culture terms because some of them sound crazy, and I could come up with a pretty logical meaning for them, yet I'm never actually close to what they really mean.

What made me happy most of all was the response to the engagement. Overall, everyone is pretty supportive and excited for my Angel and I, and if there are any negative comments, I haven't really seen them. This is mainly because Y/N has been handling that so I wouldn't have to deal with the PR aftermath, which I'm so relieved about. My Angel is truly the best partner, always protecting me and alleviating my stress. I love her so much.

As if I was calling her with my mind, my phone suddenly dings, and I receive a message from my fiancée. Gosh, I will never get tired of saying that.
