Cordelia spent the spring months outside in the courtyard playing her ukulele. Cedric and Kiana would often join her while they did their homework in the sun.

Her music playing did not go unnoticed by three yhree Gryffindor boys who shared a few classes with her: a set of red-headed twins with pale skin and a dark-skinned boy with dreadlocks.

The boys introduced themselves as Fred Weasley, George Weasley, and Lee Jordan. The three boys would often join the three Hufflepuffs on the grass, and it didn't take long for a friendship to spark between the six students.

The new friends would spend time outside and would sit close to each other in the classes they shared. Soon they started to take turns sitting at other house tables in the Great Hall, as it was okay to sit at a different table during breakfast and lunch. The twins gave Cordelia the nickname, "Little Badger."

Her twelfth birthday came on thr 26th of March and she was surprised when Fred and George had given her gifts. She had not told anyone when her birthday was (much to the annoyance of Cedric and Kiana) and she had no idea how they found out. They had given her two charms for her bracelet.

"We know that Cedric and Kiana gave you that charm bracelet for Christmas and we wanted to add to it," said George. "I chose a ukulele since you're always playing yours."

"Our older brother, Bill, helped us get these for you. I chose a badger because you are the definition of Hufflepuff and I never want you to doubt it," said Fred, who helped her put the charms on the bracelet by taking her hand and clasping the two charms onto the chain. When he let go, there was awkwardness between the two before she thanked them both.

The end of the school year quickly came, and Cordelia was feeling anxious about going home to her family. The three Gryffindors and three Hufflepuffs shared a compartment where they played games of exploding snap and laughed at stories from their school year. Cordelia started to grow more anxious as the train came closer to the station.

Cedric noticed her anxiety and held her hand as they stepped out of the train. He dragged her to his parents, who engulfed their son in a hug. Cordelia stood nervously watching the family of three.

"You must be Cordelia. He has told us all about you," his mother said. Cordelia was surprised when Cedric's mother pulled her into a hug, but gladly accepted it.

"It is nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Diggory," Cordelia said as she shook his father's hand.

"Call us Amos and Adele, my dear. There is no need for formalities," Amos said as he smiled at the girl. "We hope to see you around the house sometime. You are always welcome for a visit."

Cordelia had the biggest smile on her face that quickly disappeared when her nerves appeared once again when Fred and George approached the group with their large family. Cordelia was overwhelmed by the large family and she was worried with how they would react to her, knowing that Lucius Malfoy hated Arthur Weasley and would often start trouble with him.

"Cordi, you already know Charlie and Percy from school," Fed stated. "These are our parents and your younger siblings, Ron and Ginny."

Just as Adele Diggory did moments ago, Molly engulfed Cordelia into a big hug.

"I'm Molly, dear. This is my husband, Arthur. We heard a lot about you from all of our sons. We'd be lying if we said we weren't surprised at first, but they say you are the sweetest person they've met." Cordela's felt a blush on her cheeks, but her large smile returned as she spoke to the two families.

After a few minutes, she heard a loud voice and her smile faded. "Cordelia, come. It is time to go." She turned to see her father and mother standing a few feet away, waiting for their daughter.

Cordelia bid her goodbyes before looking at her feet and walking to her parents who didn't say anything as they left the station.
