Cordelia Lyra Malfoy had always been different from the rest of her family. Her family were blood-supremacists who tried to teach their views to their children. Cordelia never believed with their views and would be punished for it.
She never felt a...

Life at the Burrow was an adjustment for the young adults who already had a taste of living on their own. All three of them struggled with living under Molly's rules and expectations at first, as they were used to doing what they wanted whenever they wanted. But living there came with its advantages. Fred and George relished in being taken care of by their mother again. She would dote over them by giving them food at all hours of the day. She would clean up after them without complaint, and would even do their laundry for them. Cordelia, who had always struggled with letting anyone do things for her, tried to help out when she could. Of course, getting Molly to accept help was nearly impossible some days, and Cordelia had to get used to being taken care of herself. Molly reminded Cordelia of Adele in that way. Both women were very motherly and nurturing.
The prank shop was still thriving, despite the difficult times everyone was living in. The twins ran their shop out of the home by fulfilling mail orders that came via owl every day. Cordelia helped the twins, but she also took time for herself and used the new free time to play her guitar and ukulele more often.
Unbeknownst to Molly, Fred snuck into Ginny's old room almost every night, practically moving in, as he was not willing to spend the night away from his fiancé. The couple became reliant on each other in that sense. Having the other there brought comfort to each of them. Cordelia was paranoid at first, in fear of being caught, as Molly was very stuck on that old-fashioned rule. Fred didn't understand that rule. They were adults, after all, and he didn't think sleeping next to each other was inappropriate. Luckily for him, Cordelia's paranoia quickly disappeared when it was so easy to fall asleep in his arms, and she knew she wouldn't be able to fall asleep without him next to her.

Lee had started a radio program called Potterwatch in an attempt to keep people connected and informed, as well as to boost morale. To avoid detection, they did not broadcast every night, and they met in a different location when they did. Passwords that were announced on the previous broadcast were required for every show. All the listener had to do was tap a wand on a wireless radio while muttering the previously announced word.
Codenames were used to keep everyone's identity a secret. Lee was the host and went by "River". At the beginning of each shoe, he made an introduction, followed by news announcements. He would then have another speaker to talk about other subjects. He ended the second-to-last segment with a list of those who had died or had gone missing and a moment of silence.
Kingsley went by "Royal" and used his knowledge and connections to give updates on the effect of the "new Wizarding order" on the Muggle world. He wasn't on the show every night, as he was busy protecting Britain's muggle Prime Minister.
Remus was known as "Romulus" and hosted a segment called "Pals of Potter", giving updates about Harry and bringing in guests to talk about what people are doing to help the cause. While he and Tonks were technically I'm hiding as well, he was still out in the world quite often, doing what he can to keep the Order going.
Lee had given Fred the name "Rodent", but Fred changed it to "Rapier". He gave news on the "Chief Death Eater" (Aka Voldemort). He had gotten good at following Death Eaters and staying on top of their whereabouts.
Last was Cordelia, who went by "Dove". She wasn't planning on joining the broadcasts, but was brought on by Lee to lift spirits. She ended each broadcast by playing a song on either her ukulele or guitar, accompanied by lyrics.
Cordelia had hoped that the news broadcast would allow her to see Kiana in person, but that was not the case. Lee and his girlfriend decided it was safer for her to stay hidden. While the diaries were helpful in staying in contact, Cordelia still missed her best friend dearly, but she couldn't argue with safety.
One night, Cordelia ended the show with "Here Comes the Sun". Fred kissed the top of her head and offered to carry her guitar (as he did after every broadcast) before they Apparated to the Burrow.
The couple was surprised to see everyone frantically rushing through the house, packing necessary items when they appeared in the living room that night.
"What's going on?" asked Fred with his eyebrows furrowed.
"We have to leave," informed Arthur. "Harry and the others were seen at the Ministry. They know Ron isn't sick."
"We're leaving for Aunt Muriel's tonight," explained Molly.
"Thanks, Ron," Fred muttered with a groan before he and his fiancé got busy with their own packing. He knew what Harry, Ron, and Hermione were doing was very important and dangerous. Nevertheless, Aunt Muriel's house was the last place he wanted to live for the

Aunt Muriel was waiting on the front porch to greet the family when they arrived. She greeted them and allowed them to enter the home showing them to their rooms. Molly and Arthur were given Molly's old room, where she had spent some of her summers growing up. Fred and George were given the room that belonged to Molly's departed brothers, Fabian and Gideon. Cordelia was given a guest room. Of course, the separate rooms did not stop the couple from sharing a room once everyone went to sleep, unbeknownst to the old-fashioned adults.
Cordelia was afraid she would receive the harsh judgments from Aunt Muriel that the elderly woman was well known for. She was pleasantly surprised; however, to find the Aunt to be very welcoming and easy to get along with. The two women would often spend time on the porch, occasionally joined by Molly, where Aunt Muriel would request songs for Cordelia to play on an instrument, preferring the ukulele.
"She treats you better than she treats us," commented George one day while they were fulfilling mail orders for the joke shop.
Cordelia shrugged. "She's a sweet woman."
"To you, maybe. She's mean to us," retorted Fred as he filled a package of joke supplies.
"How do you get her on your good side?" asked George, genuinely curious as to how he could make his great-aunt like him.
Cordelia thought for a moment as she sealed a box. "Well, I'm polite and offer to help her with things... I don't pull pranks on her. And... I don't know... She has made comments about me being a positive influence on you two."
Fred laughed and kissed her head. "That you have, love."
