Two days before the Christmas Holiday, Cordelia's eyes opened in shock when she was awoken in the middle of the night by Professor Sprout. The Herbology professor and head of the Hufflepuff house was shaking her awake.

"Come dear, quickly. You're needed in Professor Dumbledore's office," she said quietly as to not wake up the others.

Cordelia did as she was told, not saying a word. She quickly and quietly put on her shoes before grabbing her night robe from its place hanging in the bathroom. She never felt more anxious as she followed the professor out of the Common Room. She had been asked by the professor to go to the headmaster's office before. The first time in her fifth year for the adoption, and the second time was last year when she was asked to participate in the second task. Both of those times; however, were during waking hours. She had never been woken up in the middle of the night before. She knew something very important and scary had to have happened in order for the professors to be awake at the moment.

The two witches walked quickly through the corridor, Cordelia clutching her night robe to her chest, her untied shoelaces clanking on the stone floors with each step she took. "Professor, what's going on? My parents, are they-"

Professor Sprout shook her head before cutting Cordelia's question off. "Your parents are fine. It's Arthur Weasley. He's been attacked. The Weasleys are leaving tonight and you're leaving with them, since you are technically in Molly's care until you graduate."

The Weasleys and Harry were already in Dumbledore's office when Professor Sprout and her student entered. Cordelia's eyes instantly landed on Fred before she ran to him, engulfing him in a hug. His long arms wrapped around her shoulders while he buried his face in her hair.

"I'm so glad you're here," he mumbled into her hair. "We don't know what happened or if he's even alright."

"I'm here for you, Freddie... For you and your family," she whispered. "Always."

"Phineas: I need you to go to your portrait at Grimmauld Place," Dumbledore's voice broke their moment as he spoke to a portrait. "Tell them that Arthur Weasley has been gravely injured and that his wife and children will be arriving shortly by port key, along with Miss Diggory and Mister Potter."

Fred and Cordelia broke apart as she sat by Ginny, bringing her into a hug. Fred sat next to her, wrapping his arm around the two girls.

"Look at me!" yelled Harry, causing the girls to jump and Dumbledore to stop talking to portraits. "What's happening to me?"

"All in due time," said Dumbledore. "The Portkey is ready. I'm sure you all know how to use it?" The students nodded in response.

Cordelia turned to Professor Sprout as everyone was gathering around the portkey. "Will you please let Kiana and Lee know that we left?"
