Post-War life had not been easy. So much work needed to be done. The Ministry was rebuilding itself as quickly as possible in order to ensure proper leadership. Kingsley Shacklebolt was voted in as the new Minister of Magic a few days after the battle. He was working non-stop to restore peace to the Wizarding world in Britain. Harry and Ron had volunteered to work with The Department of Law Enforcement to catch escaped Death Eaters, and they were on the track to start Auror training. Due to their heroic achievements during the war, they were able to skip their final year at Hogwarts and forego the NEWT exam requirements.

Many eople were busy with assisting to repair Hogwarts. Even witches and wizards who were not present at the battle came to help with the rebuild. Luckily, wands made the ordeal easy and McGonagall hoped to reopen the school on September first. It was decided to allow all seventh years the chance to take the year over again in order to obtain their NEWTs.

Amos and Adele moved back to England a few days after the battle. They were wanting to be closer to their adopted daughter and their friends now that the danger that threatened Adele was gone. They didn't move back into their cottage, keeping their promise to Cordelia that it now belonged to her. But they did buy a house close by so that they would be near. The new home was smaller than the cottage, and easier for the older couple to handle. They only took their personal belongings and bedroom furniture from the cottage, deciding to leave the rest to the young couple.

The Diggorys brought Kiana's family with them as well, and they settled back into the house they had left before going into hiding. Kiana and Lee already had a flat in a Muggle part of London near Diagon Alley, but they were spending their time after the war with her family.

People who lost someone in the war were grieving while trying their best to move on with their lives. The Weasleys planned and held Percy's funeral a few days after the battle. Many people attended to pay their respects to the man who redeemed himself just before his demise and became a hero for saving his brother.

Cordelia reached out to her aunt, Andromeda Tonks, immediately following the battle. She and Amos were given the unfortunate task of informing the already grieving widow about the death of her daughter and son-in-law. While grief had struck the older woman once again, she was grateful to start a new relationship with her niece who offered to help with the funerals. Andromeda had heard a lot about Cordelia through the Diggorys, as well Tonks and Remus, and she regretted not getting to know her sooner. Even Though it was decided that Andromeda would raise her Grandson, Teddy, she knew the young woman would make an excellent godmother.

They had a joint funeral for Tonks and Remus just two days after Percy's. The couple loved and died together, so it only made sense that their lives were celebrated as one and to be buried together.
