Cordelia woke up to the sound of voices coming from the living room. She quickly got out of bed and got ready for the day before walking down the stairs to see a man and a woman speaking with her parents. She recognized the tall man with ragged clothes instantly from the time he taught at Hogwarts: Remus Lupin. The other person was a woman only a few years older than herself. She was taller than Cordelia and her hair was short and pink. The woman looked familiar, but Cordelia couldn't quite place it at the moment.
"Good morning, dear!" Adele greeted her daughter when she walked into the room. "We have some people we want you to meet."
Adele placed a hand on the girl's back and led her further into the room and stood her in front of the two adults. "I'm sure you remember Remus Lupin from Hogwarts."
Remus smiled and offered his hand for her to shake, "It is good to see you again, Cordelia."
"It's good to see you as well, Professor," Cordelia told the werewolf, shaking his hand.
"Call me Remus. I am no longer your professor," Remus said with a smile as they broke their handshake.
"This here is Nymphadora Tonks, though she goes by Tonks," Adele continued the introductions.
"Wotcher, Cordelia?" Tonks said, shaking the girl's hand.
"I remember you from Hogwarts," Cordelia commented as she returned the handshake, a spark of realization filling the features on her face.

"I can't say I was much better. I wasn't exactly friendly. Sorry about that," said Tonks.
"Oh, it's alright. It got better," she said in response. She honestly didn't know what else to say. She was grateful that she didn't have to say more due to Amos interrupting the conversation. He had moved to stand between his wife and daughter and placed a hand on Cordelia's shoulder.
"They will be taking you to Headquarters as soon as you're ready. Are you sure you have everything packed?" he asked with hesitancy in his voice. He surely wasn't ready for her to leave.
Cordelia looked up at her father and nodded, "I packed my trunk last night. I just need to go get my bag... I'll be right back."
She ran back to her room and grabbed her bag. Before stepping out of the room, she looked around the room one more time. Cordelia didn't know when she would be back, and she wanted to get one good look at the room she called home for the last few years. She couldn't believe how quickly everything had changed again. She let out a sad sigh before closing the door
