Cordelia Lyra Malfoy had always been different from the rest of her family. Her family were blood-supremacists who tried to teach their views to their children. Cordelia never believed with their views and would be punished for it.

Ron had made a full recovery and was out of the Hospital Wing within a few days, just as Madam Pomfrey said he would. Time went on and Cordelia kept to her routine with work, the Order, the shop, and home life.
Wedding plans were still going slow now that the couple didn't have any decisions to make, and the adults were still focused on Bill and Fleur's wedding. Cordelia couldn't imagine juggling two weddings at once and was grateful for their mothers.
It was now early June, and Cordelia and Kiana sat outside Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour in Diagon Alley on a sunny afternoon. The two young women were eating ice cream and sipping lemonade while gossiping and catching up. Then were definitely taking advantage of the time they had together, as it didn't happen very often anymore.
"Did you hear about Harry and Ginny?" Cordelia asked Kiana, who shook her head no in response.
"They're together," said Cordelia with a smile.
She knew it was wrong to gossip, but she was just so happy for the new couple and there were some things Fred wasn't interested in talking about. Plus, she knew how protective he was of his sister. Kiana was her best friend with whom she could tell anything to, so it didn't feel very much like gossip.
"It's about time," laughed Kiana. "Ginny has been pining after him since she was eleven!"
"I know she had tried to get over him by dating around, but it didn't work. I'm happy for them. Now we just need to wait for Ron and Hermione to get together," sighed Cordelia.
"I thought that what had happened in the Hospital Wing would have brought them together," said Kiana, a small frustration in her voice.
"Nah, of course not. Ron is claiming that he doesn't remember anything that happened in the hospital Wing. He is being as daft as ever," she replied.
"So, have you and Fred set a date for your wedding?" asked Kiana as she ate her ice cream.
"Not yet," shrugged Cordelia. "We're thinking about next summer."
"That's so far away, why wait? You already have the dresses and most of the plans are done," Kiana observed with a frown.
"We don't want to take the spotlight off of Bill and Fleur," explained Cordelia. "Fleur is a saint for helping me while dealing with her own wedding. I don't know how she and Molly are juggling two weddings. Plus, I'm hoping the state of the world will be better by then."
Kiana shrugged. "I guess that makes sense. But, if you wanted to get married sooner, it would be okay."
"What about you? When are you and Lee tying the knot?" asked Cordelia, wiggling her eyebrows.
