Cordelia Lyra Malfoy had always been different from the rest of her family. Her family were blood-supremacists who tried to teach their views to their children. Cordelia never believed with their views and would be punished for it.

It had been a few months since the attack on the Burrow. The wedding planning had slowed after the first few weeks after the announcement, with the thrill of the news declining for the families. There wasn't much to do now that decisions were made, and everyone was waiting for the couple to set a date.
Molly and Adele were disappointed when they were first told that the couple wanted a small wedding without the flashy extras and outdated traditions. They came around quickly; however. They slowed down their planning, now putting all of their efforts back into Bill and Fleur's wedding.
It was now the first of March. The winter snow was lingering and beginning to melt. Patches of green grass could be seen peeking through the remaining white snow. Cordelia, Fred and George were walking through a very quiet Hogsmeade after appearing on the apparition spot.
"Are you sure you want me to come in with you?" asked Cordelia as she and the twins walked past the shops in Hogsmeade. She was walking in between Fred and George, the former holding her hand. The twins were there in a attempt to expand their business into Hogsmeade by buying out Zonko's. "I really don't mind waiting at The Three Broomsticks."
"Of course we want you there, Little Badger," George assured her. "You're one of our partners. Besides, the Wonder Witch collection is yours."
"He's right, love," said Fred, squeezing her hand. "Plus, you're Mr. Zonko's favorite. It'll give us the upper hand."
Cordelia shrugged her shoulders. "Well, if you say so. I wouldn't want to mess up your opportunity to expand the joke shop."
"Having you there won't mess anything up," Fred assured her. "We'll go in, get the deal, then meet up with the kids for Ron's birthday."
"Speaking of which... Where is everyone? This place looks deserted," Cordelia wondered out loud.
"You're right," Fred observed as he looked around. "Isn't it a Hogsmeade weekend?"
George shrugged. "Maybe we got the date wrong?"
"No, Ginny told me it was this weekend," confirmed Cordelia, shaking her head.
As the three former students kept walking, they noticed an elderly man sitting alone on a bench. He had a shopping bag in the ground near his feet, and a newspaper in his hands. Cordelia let go of Fred's hand as she walked a few paces ahead of the boys.
"Cordi, What are you doing?" Fred whispered.
"Excuse me, sir," Cordelia addressed the mam as she slowly approached him, ignoring the twins behind her. "I was wondering if you could help us with something."
"What is it, girl?" growled the elderly man, looking up from his newspaper.
"I-I was wondering if you knew where all of the students were?"
