The Weasleys and the Diggorys spent Boxing Day fixing up The Burrow. They first started with cleaning up the debris and collecting everything that wasn't damaged or could be repaired with magic. During the clean up, Cordelia had found her guitar and ukulele to be very dirty from ash, but they were undamaged.
"I told you so," Cordelia told Fred with a teasing smile.
The cleanup was followed by the rebuilding. Unknown to everyone except the parents, the Diggorys had supplied some of the materials for the rebuild in order to help their best friends. Magic was very helpful and the work only took about a day to complete.

After a few days off, Cordelia and the twins were back into their routine of running the joke shop and taking care of chores. Cordelia was back to work as a full-fledged Horticulturist at St. Mungo's.
"Congratulations are in order, I take it?" Anthony asked as he gestured to the new ring on Cordelia's left hand while they ate lunch in the break room. After their talk a few weeks ago, Anthony and Cordelia were now comfortable with each other en to sit at the same table again.
Cordelia smiled as she held her hand up and admired the ring on her finger. "Yeah, it happened just before Christmas."
Anthony gave a sad smile and nodded before looking down at his food. The rest of the meal was filled with an awkward silence. Cordelia knew he was hurt, but she had hoped he would have been over it and would have moved on by now.
"I am sorry, Anthony," she said as they were cleaning up their table when they were ready to go back to work.
"Sorry for what?" he asked.
"I don't know, really. I guess I'm sorry that I couldn't return your feelings... That I couldn't be what you needed me to be," she responded, looking up at him with sympathetic eyes. "I never wanted to hurt you. And I never wanted to rub it in your face... And if I ever did, I'm sorry for that, too."
"You never rubbed it in, so don't feel sorry about that. I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed and maybe a little heart-broken," he responded with a sigh as they began to leave the room. "But I am happy for you."
"You're a good guy," she responded with a smile. "I know you'll find someone who will make you happy. See you tomorrow," Cordelia responded before she turned to walk away.
"Congratulations, Cordi," Anthony whispered as he watched her walk down the hall.

In addition to her job at the hospital and helping with the shop, Cordelia was also helping with the Order. She and the twins had been attending Order meetings shortly after leaving Hogwarts. They were given the task of checking in on the other shop keepers in Diagon Alley.
