Everyone felt a variety of emotions after Harry defeated Voldemort. They wanted to celebrate, finally relieved that the terror and tyranny was finally over, but they were feeling grief from the loss of their loved ones as well.

Cordelia watched as people started to get to work around the castle's grounds. Some people were taking time to rest before helping the others. Some used their adrenaline to push through by tending the injured and preparing the bodies of the departed to be moved. They all knew that a lot of funeral arrangements had to be made in the following days.

Cordelia winced in pain as her adrenaline died down and she became painfully aware of the large gash on the side of her torso. She knew she couldn't heal herself. It is never a safe practice, after all, so she found her way to Madam Pomfrey to see what she could do.

Madam Pomfrey was found in the Great Hall, attending to other injured people. When Cordelia asked for her help, she had Cordelia sit on a table away from everyone else before lifting the younger woman's shirt to inspect the area.

"The wound was caused by Dark Magic, so there isn't any magic I can do to heal it," the Matron explained. "It will have to be healed the Muggle way, I'm afraid."

Madam Pomfrey did her best to clean the wound and stop the bleeding before wrapping Cordelia's torso in bandages.

"How is everything else feeling?" the Matron asked, pulling down the girl's shirt.

There was silence as Cordelia thought for a moment. "Well, I'm exhausted... Like more than I should be... And I feel like I'm going to vomit. I was sick the morning before the battle, so it could be from that."

"When did the sickness start?" the Matron asked.

Cordelia thought for a moment, trying to remember a time before she started feeling sick. "Maybe a few days ago... Maybe a week or two... Time is running together, honestly."

"Hmm... I would like to do a full-body scan and also check for internal bleeding, if that is alright... Just to make sure there is nothing else wrong with you." the older woman requested.

Cordelia nodded in consent and laid down as she watched Madam Pomfrey wave her wand. A gold stream of light worked its way over her body. Cordelia didn't see how Madam Pomfrey was able to view the results, but she did hear the Matron gasp.

"What is it? Is something wrong?" asked Cordelia, alarmed at the Matron's reaction and fearing the worst.

"There is nothing wrong, dear," responded Madam Pomfrey. "Other than your gash, you are in perfect health."

"Then why am I feeling sick and exhausted?" the young woman asked.

"It is natural to feel sick," Madam Pomfrey explained with a grin, gaining a confused look from Cordelia. "You're pregnant, my dear... About six weeks by the look of it."

Pregnant. That was the only word that ran through Cordelia's mind as she stood up and walked through the Great Hall in shock. She was pregnant. This was the biggest surprise Cordelia had ever felt. She and Fred wanted children, but they talked about waiting a few years. Now, their lives will be forever changed quicker than they had planned. She wasn't sure how this had happened. They were always careful with protective charms. But then, it all made sense the more she thought about it. she could think of one night when passion sent all precaution out the window: their wedding night.

Cordelia found Fred sitting on a bench. His head was lowered and tears were running down his face as he stared at his older brother's covered body. She quietly sat next to him and held his hand, allowing him to rest his head on her shoulder.

"He saved my life," mumbled Fred after a long comfortable silence.

"I know, love," She whispered as she adjusted herself, wrapping her arms around his body and bringing him close. She kissed the top of his head as he cried onto her chest.

As much as she wanted to tell Fred the news right away, she knew now wasn't the time. He needed to grieve for his brother. She needed to grieve for her cousin. No one was ready for this additional shock at the moment.

The amount of people on the Hogwarts grounds started to dwindle after it was discussed to form a plan for the restoration of the castle. For now, people needed to rest, rather than just jump into the rebuilding and heavy clean up.

Members of the Order were the last people remaining, waiting for Aurors to arrive. Some Death Eaters were able to escape, and will be hunted down later, but others who were rounded up and held hostage.

Cordelia watched as Lucius was forced into one of the school's carriages with Aurors keeping him bound with magical shackles. Narcissa was already in the carriage, her head bowed to hide her face. Cordelia sighed in relief to see her former father finally get the justice he deserved.

When Draco was walking to the carriages with his hands cuffed and an Auror's wand pointed at his neck, Cordelia's legs ran to the men as if on autopilot.

"Wait!" she yelled as she quickly approached the man.

"Miss, this man needs to go into custody pending his trial," the man responded in a gruff voice.

Cordelia looked up at the man with pleading eyes, her body shaking under his gaze. "I understand... I-I just need a moment with him... please."

The man nodded before stepping aside to give them some privacy, but still listening in on the conversation.

Cordelia wasn't sure what to do as the brother and sister pair stared at each other for a moment. She finally let her body decide what to do as she suddenly wrapped his arms around his neck, bringing him into a hug. Draco froze for a second, shocked by the sudden contact. He wanted nothing more than to wrap his arms around her small body, but his hands were bound.

"Thank you, Dray," she whispered into his ear as she held him close. "I'm proud that you made the right choice and I'll do what I can to help you. I love you and you'll always be my brother."

Draco didn't say anything, but simply nodded as he leaned into her hug. Unbeknownst to Cordelia, she was being watched by Fred and Harry.

"He saved my life numerous times," said Harry, keeping his gaze on the pair.

"He saved her life as well... from what I hear," answered Fred.

"What happens now?" asked Harry as he turned his head to Fred.

Fred thought for a second, pondering the question, his eyes still on his wife, "We move on."
