As planned, Cordelia was waiting in front of the Whomping Willow for Fred while everyone else was at dinner. She didn't have to wait long; however, as Fred walked out of a hole at the tree's base. Cordelia was shocked that she hadn't noticed the hole before, nor did she notice how still the tree was. She shrugged that thought off, guessing it was due to her being focused on meeting her boyfriend.

"How did you do that?" asked Cordelia, with wide eyes.

"You remember how Harry and the others went to the Shrieking shack when they learned about Padfoot's innocence?" he asked. Cordelia nodded her head in response. "Well, this is how they got in. I asked Hermione to show me."

Cordelia giggled as she took Fred's outstretched hand and followed him into the tunnel. She noticed how dark the tunnel was before Fred used his wand to cast a light. The tunnel was made of packed dirt, as if someone had dug the hole themselves. Spider webs could be seen hanging from the ceiling, and tree roots stuck out of the dirt from all sides. Cordelia kept close to Fred, her hand gripping his as they continued walking. When they reached the shack, Cordelia gasped at the sight of the room.

The room looked worn down. Scratches were seen all over the walls and floor. The wallpaper was ripped to shreds, but everything else looked like it had been freshly cleaned. The bed was fixed and was covered in fresh sheets, blankets, and pillows. Lit candles were scattered all over the room, the light from the flames dancing on the walls and floors. In a corner was a piano that had been fixed and cleaned, and the opposite corner had a table and chairs. The table was covered with a tablecloth, and topped with food and Butterbeers.

"You did all of this?" she asked, turning to her boyfriend in pleasant shock. Fred grinned proudly.

"I had help from Dobby. He helped me collect everything. We used his magic and my wand to clean and fix this place up... Do you like it?" he asked.

"Fred, this is perfect," she whispered as she threw her hands to his cheeks, bringing him into a kiss, their lips moving together. Fred wanted to continue the kiss, but pulled away and led her to the table.

"As much as I want to continue doing this, I'm starving. Let's eat."

The couple ate their dinner while making conversation, laughing at jokes and spending quality time with one another. Cordelia couldn't remember the last time they shared a meal alone, and she was grateful for this time together. When dinner was done, Fred led Cordelia to the piano.

"I know how much you miss music, so I asked Dobby to fix this for you," he commented as he helped her onto the piano bench.

Cordelia beamed as she sat on the bench and let her fingers carefully stroke the keys. "Fred, this is wonderful."
