Cordelia Lyra Malfoy had always been different from the rest of her family. Her family were blood-supremacists who tried to teach their views to their children. Cordelia never believed with their views and would be punished for it.

The Order stood on the outside of the Great Hall's double doors behind Kingsley. He was peering in to the room through the crack between the double doors. The other Order members couldn't see into the Hall, but they could hear what was going on.
"I'm scared," admitted Cordelia in a whisper, gripping Fred's hand tightly.
"I am too," he whispered back before kissing her temple.
"Many of you are surely wondering why I have summoned you at this hour," Snape's voice was heard through the doors. "It has come to my attention that earlier this evening, Harry Potter was sighted in Hogsmeade."
"It's almost time," mumbled George, his body tense as he stood next to Cordelia.
"Furthermore, any person to have knowledge of these events, who fails to come forward, will be treated as equally guilty," Snape continued in his monotoned voice. "If anyone has any knowledge of Mr. Potter's movements this evening, I invite them to step forward... Now."
Kinglsey held his hand up, preparing the other members to be ready. Cordelia gripped her wand in her free hand, her heart beating loudly and rapidly in her chest as anxiety built up in her limbs.
"It seems that despite your exhaustive defensive strategies, you still have a bit of a security problem, headmaster," Harry's voice was heard.
"Now!" instructed Kinglsey before he quickly threw the double doors open to reveal the group.
Cordelia stepped into the dimly lit room with the other Order members, attempting to look intimidating at Snape and his new regime.
Harry turned his head to the Order, giving them a grateful nod before giving his attention back to Snape. "And I'm afraid it's quite extensive." Harry's eyes grew dark as anger filled him, no longer able to hold back his resentment toward the man. "How dare you stand where he stood? Tell them how it happened that night! Tell them how you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you, and you killed him! Tell them!"
Snape hesitated for a moment, silently glaring at Harry, before taking out his wand and pointing it at the bespectacled boy. Cordelia and the Order waited, ready to step in and fight when needed. McGonagall; however, pushed Harry aside with her wand pointed at the headmaster.
The two professors began to duel, McGonagall shooting flames at Snape. Cordelia let out a gasp of realization when she noticed Snape was only deflecting her attacks, while slowly moving backwards. She looked to the other Order members, and most of them seemed to have not noticed. The only person with the same realization in his eyes was Kingsley. She wondered if Professor McGonagall knew. Snape deflected one of McGonagall's spells toward the large window behind him, shattering it in the process. He then knocked over the Carrows with another defensive spell before morphing into a black cloud and flying out of the high window.
