Cordelia Lyra Malfoy had always been different from the rest of her family. Her family were blood-supremacists who tried to teach their views to their children. Cordelia never believed with their views and would be punished for it.

Cordelia woke up early on the morning of the third task. She quickly took a shower and met Cedric in the Common Room. The two siblings spent the early morning preparing Cedric the best they could. They practiced spells in the classroom that Professor Sprout had provided, and Cordelia constantly hyped Cedric up with words of encouragement. At the end of their practice session, Cordelia pulled her brother into a hug. Cedric took notice of what the girl was wearing.
"You're wearing my jumper again," he observed.
"Of course I am. It's our lucky ritual now. I only didn't wear it during the second task because I didn't get the chance... I hope you know, you'll never get it back," Cordelia responded with a smile
Cedric chuckled. "That's alright. Dad went a little crazy with ordering quidditch supplies when I made the team. I have more than enough quidditch jumpers.. Just as long as you promise to wear it to every game."
"You can count on it," Cordelia promised. "I plan on wearing it to every Hufflepuff game. Though, I'll be wearing Fred's when he plays."
Cedric gave the girl a teasing smirk, "Oh, Fred has given you a quidditch jumper, eh? What about Hufflepuff versus Gryffindor? What are you going to do then?"
"I have one of his Gryffindor scarves already, so I guess I'll wear your Hufflepuff jumper with his scarf," she responded with a shrug.
The two teens laughed before they noticed it was lunch time and made their way to the Great Hall where they were joined by their friends at the Hufflepuff table. It was only a few more hours before the task and Cordelia could feel her anxiety rise, she had a bad feeling about the evening ahead but tried to not let it show. Just as the group was about to put food on their plates, Professor Sprout approached the six friends with a smile and a twinkle in her eye.
"Miss Diggory, Messrs Diggory and Weasley... I need you to come with me, please. We have a surprise for you," the Professor requested with excitement.
The Weasleys and Diggorys said their goodbyes to Kiana and Lee before they followed their professor out of the Great Hall and through the corridors before they reached a closed door.
"Now, you are probably wondering why I led you here," said Sprout as she placed her hand on the door handle. "We have decided to hold a special lunch to celebrate and support the champions."
The students looked at one another, their expressions giddy at the prospect of seeing their families.
"Then why are we here?" asked George.
"Yeah, don't get me wrong. I'm glad to be here with my girlfriend, but we aren't family yet," said Fred. The last comment caused Cordelia's eyes to widen and her cheeks to blush.
