Fred and Cordelia walked through King's Cross with their four children. When they reached the wall where the barrier to enter Platform 9 ¾ was located, Cordelia went first with Cedric pushing his trunk next to her. The two of them walked through the middle and disappeared through the wall. Julia and Colin followed after them, Julia holding onto the trolley to help her brother keep it going straight, and to keep him from hitting people with it once they entered the platform.

Fred took up the rear, helping a nervous Rachel walk through the barrier. This was not her first time going through the barrier, as she had gone to Kings Cross every year since she was born to see her siblings off. She used to love running through the barrier until the year prior when Uncle Ron told her the story of how it was once closed for him and Uncle Harry. Ever since that story, she was nervous every time she had to run through the barrier, afraid that she would hit the barrier full force and miss the train, just like they did. Ron didn't mean to scare the girl at the time of telling her the story, and he apologized to her. But he did find it amusing to see Fred annoyed by it, calling it justice for turning his teddy bear into a huge spider when they were kids.

"Hello, Weasleys!" Lee Jordan called out as soon as the family was on the platform. He and Kiana never planned to get married or have children, but that all changed when Kiana learned she was pregnant two years after Julia was born.

Their daughter, Amelia, was starting her seventh year of Hogwarts along with Bill and Fleur's daughter, Victoire. Both girls were sorted into Ravenclaw together and welcomed Colin with open arms when he was sorted. Victoire started dating Teddy a few months ago and the adult men were oblivious to the new relationship. Of course, the mothers knew about it and were happy for the couple. Technically speaking, Teddy was Cordelia's cousin, not Victoire's, so they didn't see anything wrong with the relationship.

"Hey, Lee... Kiana," Fred greeted the small family, giving Lee a high-five.

As the two families were conversing, George and Angelina walked through the barrier with their children. The couple had gotten married after Fred and Cordelia and had two kids, Roxanne and Fred II. People often wondered why Fred didn't name one of his sons after himself, or why George did it instead. It was all due to an odd and complicated bet, in which George lost. The details from the bet have long been forgotten, but the result will always remain through George's son.

Harry and Ginny arrived next with their three children: James, Albus, and Lily. All three of Harry and Ginny's chi were named after people who had lost their lives. Being ten years old, Lily was still too young to attend Hogwarts. With this being his first year, Albus looked just as nervous as Rachel.
