Waking up in a new world, with a new body Mochou thought luck was on his side. But things wouldn't be so easy.
MC: "Will I ever find someone to love me?"
ML peeks out of from behind some bushes.
ML: "He's so cute."
MC: "Is someone there?"
ML: "..."
...
"Daddy! Can we play outside?" Muchen begged with big bright eyes together with Muyang.
Yichen who was sitting at the table peeling potatoes for dinner looked outside. The heavy rain from earlier had slowed to a light drizzle. Normally he wouldn't agree to his sweet Goji Berries going outside to play in the rain but they had been trapped inside all morning and most of the afternoon. While he mulled over letting them go outside The twins were becoming impatient.
"Pleeeeeassse daddy!" (x2)
"Cry." Muchen whispered to Muyang.
"I can't. If I cry daddy will hug me. We don't have time for hugs. fFumu will come back soon." Muyang whispered back.
The two little ones kept whispering back and forth trying to think of a way to get their father, Yichen to agree with them going outside. Mochou who had heard everything from outside the door was feeling jealous.
"Why didn't they ask me? Do they think I only ever say no?" He wondered as he spied on his family.
He hated to admit it and Yichen or the twins eould try to deny it but Mochou was considered the strict one in the family. The Goji Berries loved him but they would always go to Yichen first if there was something they wanted. Leaving Mochou feeling lonely.
"Well, just you wait. Today I'll be the one getting all the hugs and kisses." Mochou muttered before running off to the twins' bedroom.
Inside he found their coats hanging and their little booties. He looked at the adorable design Meng Yao had sewn for them. They were traditional straw coats but Mochou wanted something cuter. So he designed an overlay that would cover the ugly raincoat and Meng Yao used his design to make it for them. With the overlay they looked more like a modern raincoat with bright colours. The coloured linen top layer was coated in some type of repellent but it wasn't that effective. Even so, Mochou wanted them to look adorable and easy to spot.
Muchen had a blue one with a rabbit design. Mochou loved the adorable rabbit ears that were attached to the hood the most. Muyang's was yellow with turtles sewn on it. It wasn't as cute in his opinion but Muyang loved it and that was good enough. Because of the straw lining the raincoats were heavy and bulky but if it meant his Goji Berries would stay dry it was necessary.

After grabbing the rain gear Mochou headed over to the kitchen excited to see their happy little expressions when he told them they could go play.
"Yay!!!! Thank you daddy!" (x2)
Before Mochou could open the door he heard the Goji Berries shout out happily. They then burst through the door and saw him standing there with their coats and boots.
"Fumu, where are you taking our coats? Daddy said we could go outside if we wear them." Muchen and Muyang said with wronged little expressions.
"Don't look at me like I'm about to rain on your parade. If anyone has been wronged it's me." Mochou thought. His decision to go get the coats instead of going into the kitchen to say they could go out to play had backfired and he once again looked like the villain.
