"Savannah sweetheart this is Toni our housekeeper, Toni this is my beautiful daughter Savannah."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Savannah I have heard nothing but amazing things about you."

"Nice to meet you too Toni, you must show me how to make this one day it smells amazing." Toni smiles at me bowing her head slightly and she takes her leave.

After dinner I insisted on clearing the table and loading the dishwasher. Yes, even though we have Toni who can do that for us, I just don't feel comfortable that Toni is doing everything. I like to feel useful around the house and this is my way of being useful. Collecting mine and Dad's now empty plates after such a burst of flavor in those quesadillas, I take them to the sink and give them a quick rinse down before I put them in the dishwasher and I do the same routine, with the cutlery and glassware.

It didn't take me long to clean up after dinner. Dishwasher filled and running, placemats put away in a drawer and table wiped down it only took me roughly ten minutes to do, at least it's kept me busy, so my thoughts are not replaying through today's events.

It wasn't long ago when I got off the phone to Jen and she was telling me about the shit storm that went down in her house after they got home. I'm thinking Jennifer Eliza Lockwood has been telling her daddy what has been going on.

She didn't tell me much except when Chase came home, he smashed four glasses and there are a couple of holes in his bedroom wall from him throwing things around in a rage. I don't care what he does I just hope he does not do any serious harm to himself. Yeah, he hurt me, but I don't want him to hurt himself because of me.

Jen and I talked on the phone for nearly an hour and a half, and I'd promised the girls I would do a video call with them too. So, I head back to my room from sitting outside on the phone with Jen to load up my laptop that's sat on my desk to get ready for a crazy question-filled video call with my girls from back home.

We spoke on the computers till early hours in the morning until I was struggling to keep my eyes open. We spoke about anything and everything. Of course, it would be as soon as I left town that the hot cowboy of the town James Maddoc would ask Brianna out on a date. I'm not that surprised really, she is a natural beauty and they've had a crush on each other since the 4th grade. I am happy he is now acting on it she deserves all the happiness in the world.

Ocean was talking about how she's started applying for college already. I'm proud of her and that gives me an idea that I should do the same. Do my research and see what is the best schools around. Ideally, I would like to go to Berkeley University but there is no harm in looking at other options as backups.

And Charlotte is celebrating her promotion to assistant manager at the diner. That is amazing news for her. She has been working so hard at the diner saving up enough money to go to college. Yeah, her parents have her college funds saved for her, but she wants to contribute in some way. That's why she is one of my best friends she is so caring and doesn't want to be a financial burden to anybody.

Turning off my laptop I climb into bed just thinking about everything that has happened in the last 48 hours. I don't think my head will shut itself off with how it's processing every minor little detail. I know I miss my friends like crazy I can't wait for the day I see them again. I am grateful I have now gained a small group of great friends that I trust with my life. But the one thing that keeps playing around in my mind is Chase. How much of a dick he was to me on my first day of school? Then how sweet he was at the dinner party as well as I thought we made a connection. To how he treated me today at school then bailing on me and hurting me at the beach. I can't keep up with how hot and cold he has been with me since I have known him.
