Turning around I go outside to see if she's inside the house. In desperation to find her I am hallucinating I am seeing her but then it turns out not to be her. I hate there are so many faces around me and the one I want to see is the one I can't find. I do however find Mr. Blakemore talking to Mr. Davenport so Savannah must still be here. Never thought I'd see something like that, my girlfriend's dad is talking to my twin sister's boyfriend's dad. I try one more time looking outside before I call her, I hear the DJ make an announcement that there's a special treat for us tonight. What could he be talking about?

It not until I see a light shining on her right in front of the DJ booth is when I see her, and she's holding a mic in her hand. Is she going to sing? I can't believe Jen asked her to sing at our party. If I had known I would have said no. Savannah deserves to attend a party where she doesn't have to sing, she sung at the winter formal, that was also on her birthday, she shouldn't be singing tonight.

"Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me taking up a couple of minutes this evening." She looks absolutely breathtaking standing there in the spotlight my heart feels like it's fluttering out of my body to go to her. "I have been asked by one of the birthday twins we are celebrating tonight if I could sing a song for y'all." There were some cheering, and everyone clapped, "This song is dedicated to Chase, I hope you are listening and please listen to the message of the song it will help you know what is right."

She turns her head toward the DJ and give him the signal to start the music. As she was doing that Mr. Blakemore comes and stands next to me asking me if I knew what Savannah was talking about. So, I gave him the quick short version of what happened, and I can see the fury flash in his eyes, but I reassured him that I am not leaving Savannah for a bogus scholarship under blackmail.

When the song starts to play, I think to myself that it sounds familiar, but I don't quite work it out just yet. It isn't until Savannah started singing that it hits me what song she is singing. 'Miracle' by Cascada. What hits me the hardest is when Savannah sings the line "I know you cheated on me from behind," I have never cheated on her nor would I. When she has finished singing this song, I am getting to the bottom of this. This is pissing me off more than finding out it was Candace who cheated on me in the first place. The only true thing she is singing about is needing a miracle and she is right. I need a miracle, and my miracle is standing in front of me singing. I will do everything in my power tonight to make her see that she is the miracle I didn't know I wanted but I am so fucking happy to have.

I nod to Mr. Blakemore as he stands there and watches his daughter, and I make my way over to Savannah. Getting closer to where she is singing Josephine stops me.

"Oh, my god Chase I am so happy I found you I accidentally gave you the wrong demo when you sang at the studio. I have the one you wanted here," she holds out a disk for me and I take it and look at it in confusion.

"The version you took away with you was the unedited version," she said.

"Wait a minute the one I took away with me and put on my USB and played for Savannah was not autotuned?" I need to know the answer and I need to know now.

"No, the one in your hand is the autotuned but you didn't need it anyway. Did you know you could fucking sing man?" I look at her like she's turned into a hydra with multiple heads growing off of her neck. "I guess how you're looking right now you didn't know." I shake my head at her but then an idea pops into my head.

"Thanks for telling me Jo I'm either going to embarrass myself or be the miracle I am supposed to be." I give her arm a gentle pat before stomping toward the DJ booth.

Letting Savannah finish her song I have a quick word with the DJ about what I plan on doing, he nods and gets the song ready. I just hope this works as when Savannah finishes, I'm stepping up. This will be the last time tonight, and hopefully ever I am stopping her from walking away from me.

Savannah finishes singing and everyone erupts into applause. She bows and I start to walk up behind her smiling at her clapping along with everyone else. I could not be prouder than I am right now of my girl. She turns around and attempts to walk off of the mini stage in front of the DJ booth. I stop her grab the microphone from her hand and hold he free hand in mine as I walk her back into the middle standing by my side.

Whispering into her ear so she could hear me I beg her to stay here with me as I have a surprise for her. Thanking my lucky stars, she nods and says okay. Lifting the mic, I start talking to the crowd. "Thank you, Savannah, for that amazing performance. Wasn't she amazing everyone?" The crowd cheers and I lift her arm up in the air in appreciation of her performance. "There is another reason why I stopped Savannah from leaving as I have a surprise not just for her but for everyone here tonight." There is a mixed reaction from the crowd some cheer and I swear I heard one of my teammates shout don't do it man you're too young and the rest of them laugh. I can feel Savannah crawling into her shell I can see she is nervous and embarrassed, so I have to do this quickly before I lose her.

"It was brought to my attention just moments ago that the birthday present I gave Savannah mere days ago was infact unedited." Savannah looks at me shell shocked, not believing what I am telling her. Trust me I am just as surprised she is. "For everyone who didn't know I asked a good friend of mine to help me and I sang Savannah's favorite song for her birthday. I asked for it to be autotuned thinking I could not sing to save my life," There was a little laugh from everyone. "To find out that the version I gave Savannah was not autotuned, but it was actually me singing. So tonight, I would like to share with you all what I shared with Savannah and perform a song that too has meaning, and I dedicate this song to the love of my life Savannah." Everyone claps at my declaration of love to her as I nod to the DJ who starts playing Meat Loaf 'I Would Do Anything For Love.'
