A Little Cinderella Moment

Chapter 91

"Oh, Chase that is so romantic, that you will face your worst fears for the one you love. Hey Brie has James done anything like that for you?" Ocean says.
"No. No, he hasn't but it will be something I will ask him later. But hey we're here to celebrate our girl let's party." We all cheer and start dancing around the kitchen when one of my favorite club classics songs come on 'I See The Light' by Blacklite.
"Oh, girl you know this is my song," Charlotte says as I grab hold of Jen and Sel's hands and make a circle as we sing and dance to the song. I want to include my new friends in with my old friends so we all can become a sisterhood of some sorts. As the song continues, I see the guys standing in the corner talking amongst themselves and I see my dad and Toni sitting at the table watching what is going on. I also see my dad smiling and I just love seeing that smile back on his face as we both know it has not been there for a very long time.
As the party started to wind down Toni and my dad called it a night half an hour ago and the guys held off, but they had to go soon under Dad's instructions. All of the girls are staying for a sleepover, so I'm having a slumber party too of some sorts. Jen, Sel, and I walked the guys out and said goodnight to them in our own special way.
"Thank you for the most magical day today, Chase you were right it is a birthday I will never forget," I gave him a kiss on his cheek as I hug into his arm. Chase returns my kiss by kissing me on top of my head.
"I would do this day over and over again sweetheart just to see that smile on your face. Now go back inside and enjoy this time with your friends we have all the time in the world for it to be just us. You've missed them and they've missed you go and have some fun with them and text me when you're about to go to sleep so I get to be the last person to wish you sweet dreams tonight."
"I will do. I love you, Chase."
"I love you too Savannah," Chase said as he takes hold of the back of my neck and kisses me. I run my fingers through the back of his hair and deepen the kiss. Moaning softly against his lips Chase breaks up the kiss. "Sorry sweetheart, if we continued, I would not be able to leave. I would say to you fuck your friends you're mine tonight. But we both are not ready to make that next step yet. As I promised you, I will go at your speed and when you are ready, we will make that next step in our relationship together." I hate to admit it but he's right. If we carried on with our make out who knows where things would have ended up.
"You're right I hate to admit it, but you're right. We don't want to spoil what we have right now for something that could destroy us if we rush into it. You better go before Dad comes and escorts you out himself and I'll text you later." I must have it bad I don't want to say good night to him, not this way. Chase kisses the top on my head one more time before he starts to walk towards his car.
"The guys and I have already put your prizes in the family room for you, have fun with the girls." He walks back up to me, and leans down to whisper in my ear, "Just not too much fun without me baby." He winks and grins at me before returning to his car to leave.
When Chase gets to his car he stops and looks back at me one more time smiling, and then climbs into his car. The engine roars to life and Chase drives away from my house. He sticks his arm up out of the sunroof and waves to me one last time before he's out of the gate and driving down the road. Sighing to myself watching him drive away Jen walks up and stands beside me.
"You really do love him, don't you?" Jen questions. I say nothing but nod. What I feel for Chase is more than that silly high school I love you; I love you too bullshit. I am in love with Chase, I love him more than I ever could. I have never felt like this before, and I thought I had been in love in the past, but this feels nothing like that. "As long as he makes you happy, and you make him happy, then I will support you both and stand by your side. I love you both and I don't want to lose either of you."
"You will not lose us, Jen. I believe this is forever with me and your brother."
"I think so too, you guys are so happy when you're together. It is a joy to witness, and I have never seen him as happy as he is whenever he is with you." We stand there for a couple of minutes until Selena joins us as we watch Greg and Lucas drive away just like Chase did waving to the girls and driving down the street and into the night.
"Shall we head back on inside and continue the party?" Selena asks. Jen and I look at each other and nod. The three of us walks back inside and see my friends setting up a movie night in the family room.
"So, what is the plan for the rest of the night ladies?" Jen asks looking at what they have set up.
"Well, while the three of you were outside saying bye to your hot men." Ocean fans herself after her statement about the guys. "We thought we could continue drooling over a bunch of hot guys on TV and have fantasies about them.
"Oh, hell yeah I'm in," Jen rushes over, grabs the bowl of popcorn on the table, and settles down on the couch.
Selena walks over and takes a seat on a cushion on the floor and wraps a blanket over herself. "So, what sexy sex symbol are we watching first?"
Charlotte loads up Passionflix and sets to play the first season of Driven. "Casey Deidrick to start off with and then move on to Michael Roark. Two sexy men who can certainly drive and teach me how to drive stick." All of us laugh over that comment. Charlotte has always had a type of guy and they always seem to be bad boy racers. Or as Brianna says "the heartbreakers."
We change into our pajamas and settle down to watch the TV. The girls are talking amongst themselves when I pull my phone out to text Chase.
