A Little Cinderella Moment

Chapter 76

"WHAT?" Four sets of voices shout at me. I groan in frustration as I feel like I'm wasting time standing here explaining this to them when I could be chasing after Savannah.

"Guys will you just please." I plead for them to shut up so I can finish and go find the one I love. Luckily, they shut up, so I continue. "Candace was pleading with me to get back together with her when I said no, I am in a new relationship I could never be with her again, she kissed me, and Savannah saw it before I could push her away."

"That fucking slut she better not still be here, or I will break that fake nose of hers off that pretty little face." Damn, Jen can be vicious. Gregg holds her back as she is about to go on a witch hunt to make good on her threat.

"Jen, I don't care if she's still here I chose Savannah, I will always choose Savannah. That is why I am here looking for her. So, I can explain whatever she saw is not what she thinks she saw." Just as I finished what I was saying both girls looked at their phones.

"Well, that's Sav, she's just into her Uber going home. If what you said is true Chase, then you know where you gotta go." I walk over to her and kiss her on the cheek.

"Thanks, sis I won't let you down, nor will I let her go."

Turning around I rush out and run to my car. I just hope traffic doesn't hold me up. I hate this feeling I have building in my chest right now. I cannot, I will not lose her. She is the best thing to happen in my life this year.

She has not just made my mom happy again and given her hope in music once again, she's given Jen something she's never asked for but secretly wanted, a second chance at love, and she has given my parents probably the best gift ever, their twins back together again.

Once I get into my car I speed out of the property and head into the busy night traffic. With one goal in mind, the drive gives me time to think about what I need to say to her and get her to listen to me. As Jen said this is my last chance.

Luck must be on my side right now traffic is not too bad considering it is days before Christmas and the office parties are out in full swing. Pulling up outside Savannah's house half an hour after leaving the dance. I feel more nervous now than I was when I was meeting with Dream.

Sitting in my car calming my nerves, wiping the palms of my hands up and down my legs before I get out and face my doom. Taking some slow calming deep breaths, I look up at the door and thought it's now do-or-die time. I can't stay sat out here in my car looking like a tool.

Getting out of the car I take the deadly steps up to the door. Knocking on the door I just pray it's her who answers the door and not Mr. Blakemore. As the door opens, I know my luck has finally ran out.

"Chase! What are you doing here?" He asks me.

"I am sorry to intrude on you tonight sir, but I need to speak to Savannah and explain something to her. She saw something and it was wrong of me, but I love her sir and I'm standing here begging and pleading and fighting for a chance to explain everything to her sir."

"Hang on a moment and take a breath please," he stands to the side and allows me to enter his home. "Follow me to my office and explain everything to me as I am confused right now." He shuts the door behind me and heads towards his office and I follow a pace behind him.

Once we get into his office, he walks around his desk, takes a seat, and offers me to take a seat too. I pull out the chair in front of his desk and take a seat. Rubbing my palms up and down my legs again as I feel I am now standing in front of the judge who will decide if I live or die.

"Okay son, explain everything to me and start from the beginning." Taking a deep breath, I start explaining everything to him. Coming clean so there are no more secrets. I need to see her, if he doesn't let me see her, I am fucked, and Candace will hear the last from me if she has fucked this relationship up before it even starts.
