Chase P.O.V

When we got home Jen and I spoke to our parents about what that prick did during the last moment of the game and what the physicians said. I am only winded and will be fairly bruised no signs of concussions or whiplash so I will live to tell the tale. Our parents decided to call it a night, so Jen and I are sitting on the couch in the family room.

"So, care to spill the tea with what's going on between you and Savannah? I swear you guys run hot and cold more than the faucets."

"I couldn't agree with you more sis but there's nothing really to tell."

"I call bullshit."

"Jen I'm serious there's nothing to tell you. We are just wanting to get to know each other. I am trying my fucking best to not fuck up with her again. I am slowly gaining her trust back and right now that's what's important to me."

"Well since I know she starts her first day at her new job tomorrow, I may be able to help you get that little bit closer with gaining her trust back."

"What are you talking about?" I don't know what her agenda is, what game she's trying to play, what she wants for this, and what she is hoping to get out of this.

"Didn't you know?"

"Know what? Obviously, I don't know what you're trying to say."

"Well, she starts at Back on the Beach tomorrow."

"What! That's where you work why didn't you tell me any sooner?"

"Because I only looked at the training schedule last night and I can't talk to you on game day you won't allow it."

Oh my god, when they say twins have these unnatural powers they were talking out of their asses. "Jen you, Mom, and all the female teachers are the exempt of that, you should have known that I can't go a day without talking to you now. You're my twin sister you should know me better than Mom should, we are inseparable because of that bond."

"I'm sorry Chase you're right I should have known."

"It's okay all is forgiven just promise me from now on Jen please come and talk to me about anything even if it's on game day."

"I promise." With her now promising me to come and talk to me no matter what I wrap my arms around her, hug her, and kiss the top of her head.

"So, tell me this idea that you have that's going crazy in your head right now I can feel it bouncing around in that brain of yours." We both start laughing over my comment.

"Well now you know she's now working with me, and I believe you heard what Sav said to Lucas to do for Selena." I nod "Why don't you do something similar but instead of turning up just send a bouquet or something memorable."

Now that is one hell of an idea and Savannah has just told me she likes Calla Lilies and Orchids maybe I could send both. A bouquet of calla lilies to her work wishing her good luck on the first day of her new job and hand deliver an Orchid to her house to congratulate her on the first day of her new job.

I run the plan through with Jen and she gives me her approval. It's now starting to get late, and I am tired after playing a rough game but I'm happy we came out with the win with the final score of 49-21 and my bed is calling for me.

I wake up early and log onto my laptop to get a better look at some of the best florists in the area. I found at least three great potentials, but I need another man's perspective so there's only one man I can turn to in a time like this. My dad. I get dressed quickly into a grey fitted tank and basketball shorts so I can go for my weekend morning run along the beach. Grabbing my Fitbit and running armband to store my phone and keys in and then head on downstairs.
