"Dream?" I ask the beautiful one in the blue dress I could never forget. She slowly turns around and looks at me. My breath catches in my throat she's more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.

"Wolf? Is that you?" she says softly.

"It is yeah, I see what you mean now by the stockings tree cute idea, was it yours?"

"It was my idea, yeah but thanks to everyone on the committee we managed to get enough stockings to decorate this tree. Did you have any trouble finding it?"

"I did have to ask my sister where it would be, but I found it easy enough thanks." I rub the back of my head feeling nervous being in the presence of this dream of beauty.

"I'm glad you found it okay, would you like to go for a walk to the upper balcony to talk? it'll be a bit quieter up there."

"I'd love to," I hold my arm out for her to lead "Please lead the way." She walks ahead of me, and it takes two steps for me to be walking beside her. We walk in silence until we reach the upper balcony, I think she is as nervous as I am. I open the door to the balcony for her like the gentleman mom raised me to be.

As she walks out, I'm not far behind her, and we walk to the stone railing of the balcony, looking out over the grounds. The balcony is lit up with white and silver garlands and Christmas lights in them, on each corner of the balcony are white poinsettia trees planted in pots with huge silver bows around them. So much thought has gone into this event it looks almost magical.

We walk to the stone railing of the balcony and look out over the front grounds. My eyes do not stay far away from her as them beautiful green eyes sparkle behind her mask, and I feel like I have seen them eyes before. But where? I can't seem to think.

"It's so beautiful here, I could never get views like this back in North Carolina," She whispers softly leaning on the railing gazing off into the distance, with that beautiful smile on her face. I feel my palms start to get clammy and the last time this happened was when I was with Savannah. But surely Dream can't be her, can she?

"You're the beautiful one here tonight, Dream I have been so nervous about tonight with meeting you," I confess to her, putting my hands in my pockets whilst looking out at the view before us. I turn to look at her and she is smiling, and her cheeks are rosy.

"Thanks, Wolf, and you look handsome tonight too. One of the best-looking guys here tonight."

Wait what? What did she just say? "One of the best-looking?" I ask her raising an eyebrow curious of what her answer is going to be. She turns and looks at me almost embarrassed and she makes one of the sweetest sounds I have ever heard. A soft little chuckle.

"Oh, sorry umm... I was with my friends and their dates before coming to meet you. But you are the handsome one out of the three of you." Her smile is too sweet and innocent I can tell she's not lying I can almost read her emotions as it looks like she's the type who wears her heart on her sleeve.

"Would I know your friends and their dates?" I'm getting suspicious that I know who is standing before me, but I just need a couple more clues. Her eyes are a gorgeous emerald green I can't get over, just as I told her that I'm intrigued by the same color of her eyes, her smile I feel that my breath catches in my throat, her hair as golden as the sun. She is a natural beauty, not some fake bitch my ex was.

"I don't know, maybe, possibly, it's hard to say. Wouldn't every senior know everyone?"

"Partially true, especially in this school. You need to know who is who in each social circle. As we spoke in our chats, you know I'm on the football team, so I know almost everyone."

I walk behind her thinking my next step carefully. I fear she may be the fight or flight kinda girl who will fly and not fight. "There's only one way to find out if I know them or not. Shall we head on into the ballroom and have that dance I owe you?"

She turns around and gives me her smile that I feel now is only for me. "I'd like that thank you." There's nothing more for me to do but smile back at her and offer her my arm. She hooks her arm in mine, and we walk towards the door to lead back into the hallway.

Just as we get to the door, we both turn around one last time to take one last glance out at the view. I do hope to come back here one day with Dream during the day, hopefully, to stand out here again to look at the beautiful view.

Once through the door, we follow the sound of the music and people in the hall talking. The closer we got the louder the chatter came, the people around us were in our way, and the music was loud enough that we could hear it clearly too. Standing outside the double doors I look at Dream and smile, she smiles back at me, and I feel like we're the only two here and I can be me.

"You okay Wolf? You seem a little nervous."

Am I nervous? I'm not sure. I guess I am a little with being here with the girl I have been thinking about for months. I'm nervous about finding out who Dream is. I'm nervous to see my sister's reaction when she sees me walk in with Dream on my arm. I look at her and try to be as convincing as I can be. I've only been this nervous with one other girl. Savannah.

"With you on my arm Dream, I'll be fine in everything I do when I'm with you." I lean down and softly kiss her cheek feeling the warmth of her skin on my lips I can tell she's blushing.
