"Since when did she get so sassy?"

"Oh, she's always been this sassy. She just hypes it up when she's got something good up her sleeves."

"She's not gonna start meddling, is she?"

Selena links her arm through mine as we walk into school together. "I wouldn't put it past her but with it being you and her brother I honestly don't know what she will do."

The school day went better than how it started. Jen was giving Chase and I glances every time we were talking or had the same class together. I swear if Selena didn't say anything to me at the start of the day, I would be more suspicious than I am at this moment. Even Chase questioned her, and she's not been giving much away, it's driving us both crazy.

I'm sat in English with the rest of the dance committee at the end of the school day going over the final details and making sure we are within budget. We are under budget on everything, so that's good news. We've had a little setback with food, beverage, and location but the issues have been solved. Luckily. We can't use the school gym as it's being renovated the day of the dance, so we've had to look for an alteration.

We have found a beautiful mansion manor house up in the hills. With views to die for from the pictures. Jen, Selena, and I are driving up to see the house for ourselves once the meeting is adjourned. It will give me an idea on decorations and how to make the place look.

The rest of the meeting went as scheduled. Everyone including myself are trying to get Jen to spill on who she's booked for the music. But no such luck she is tight-lipped on this. I'll try and see if Chase can get anything out of her. We arrange to meet again tomorrow during lunch so we can discuss what us girls thought of the new possible location.

We all left the meeting feeling happy with the progress of this school dance. The further we go along with this planning the more I'm getting excited to see the outcome. The girls and I drove our cars to the house as we have to go our separate ways afterwards. Looking out my window as I'm driving, I can see now why many people love living here these views from up here in the hills are breathtaking.

Pulling up outside this house I look up and I am speechless. This house looks perfect. This house could be my dream home one day. The house is four stories, with dark wood paneling, balconies on every floor, huge chestnut oak double door, and by the looks of it a side path surrounded by stone to lead to what I think is the ballroom. I swear if I could draw up my perfect home on paper, this would be it.

Parking the car, I step out with a notepad and pencil in hand so I can do a rough sketch on the layout of the place. I start drawing the outside as it's giving me an idea to try and make the outside look like a castle with panels. I can see if the art department can help with this. As I finish my rough sketch a man exits the house and introduces himself to us as Mr. Edwards the manager of the household and he gives us a tour of the house.

We are standing in the large spacious ballroom and my ideas are in overdrive as my pencil is going crazy over the paper. Jen makes a deal with Mr. Edwards, and we have full access of the ballroom and the first floor. Everything is looking great for this school dance I hope this one goes down in school history as the most memorable.

I head on home after we leave the house Selena has to get on home to help her mom out with her younger siblings and Jen has to go to the office for some reason she doesn't know. At least now I can question her about it tomorrow. Even though I love these girls I'm kinda glad that I can go home as I'm desperate to talk to Wolf if he's on. I hope he is. It feels like forever since I last spoke to him.

I get home and hear Dad on the phone in the family room, so I pop my head in and wave to him, so he knows that I am home, and I am safe. He acknowledges me by raising his free hand and winks at me. I leave him to his call, and I can talk to him tonight at dinner.

Walking up to my bedroom I can't stop thinking about that house and all the possibilities it could have. As I walk into my room, I sit at my desk to load up my laptop and as I wait, I get my sketchbook out of my bag and tear out my rough designs then I pin them on my corkboard above my desk.

Once my laptop was loaded up, I logged into the Berkeley chatroom to see if Wolf was online. As the chatrooms were loading, I looked at my rough sketches and I redrew them better than the rough sketches. I just hope once I have them finished and colored, they will look amazing. Hopefully, I will be able to show these to Jen and see what she thinks of them. I look back at my screen and I see everyone who is logged in. As I browse through the names a smile forms on my face as I see that Wolf is online. It feels like at this moment in time today everything is looking good and is going my way.
