I can't believe this is happening right now. I cannot fucking believe it. Candace has fucking done it again. I should have known she would do something like this. She did say she would ruin me, and I didn't believe her. What I can't believe the most of this shit show is the fact I just let Savannah walk out of here on the brink of tears. I've let Candace come between us again when I promised Savannah that she wouldn't anymore. The only thing I know is that I will not let Candace dictate my life and Savannah is a part of my life from now on.

Walking out of the study to go and find my dad to tell him what's happened Adelaide bumps into me.

"What do you want now Adelaide? You and Candace have already tried to fuck up my life this year what more could you possibly want now?" If her parents didn't work at the office, I wouldn't have invited her to the party.

"Chase I'm sorry about everything I have done to you and Savannah this year, I know I was wrong, but I came to warn you about what Candace is going to do."

Oh, this is gonna be good. What more can she do? "And what's that?"

"You know that her uncle is the football coach for UCLA, don't you?"

No, I didn't know this. Why didn't I know this? I dated that lunatic for too long and I didn't know that. Has this been a game to her this whole time playing me and Vance against each other for her own sick enjoyment? What I don't understand is how I didn't know. So, I let it known on my face that I have no idea what she's talking about.

"I guess she didn't tell you then," I shake my head saying no that I didn't know. "Candace's mom is Coach Daniels' is his sister and as you know whatever Candace wants Candace gets, so she spoke to her mom, and she spoke to her brother, and they concocted a plan to control you."

"So, what you're telling me is that Coach Daniels one of the best college football coaches there are at the moment is connected to my ex-girlfriend?" Adelaide nods her head. "Well, you're a little late on the warning me. I've just got off the phone to their scouting agent spatting some shit about a scandal is on my hands if I don't comply with their demands."

Adelaide looks distraught when I tell her she's late on the warning. "I knew I should have come to find you sooner Chase I am so sorry. I just got the text from her telling me what she was planning. I can take screenshots and send them to you if you want them because after this, I don't want anything to do with her anymore this is on the verge of psychopath."

I lean in and peck her cheek as a sign of thanks, "Thank you Adelaide, please send me them screenshots I'm finally gonna take this bitch down. They were talking about a scandal on my hands, well, they've just caused one. I am refusing the offer for UCLA I am not letting the love of my life slip through my fingers because some primpy princess thinks she can control me. That bitch can think again." Patting Adelaide on the shoulder I walk past her to go and find my dad.

The one thing I'm grateful of having this party right now is seeing my dad talking to the family lawyer. I need to deal with this mess before it becomes a bigger problem. I pull them both to the side where it's a little more quieter to tell them everything and just as I finish saying what I need to say Adelaide is true to her words and has sent me the screenshots of everything Candace has said, planned and will do.

Just as I was wanting to hear the family lawyer will be dealing with this first thing in the morning. I told him I would send him the screenshots Adelaide just sent me. He said and I quote enjoy tonight's party, spend some time with my friends and my sister, and reassure Savannah that nothing will separate her from me. I thank them both and do as he say, enjoy the party, spend time with my friends and sister, and finally reassure the love of my life that nothing will separate us.

I go in search of Jen, as surely where she is Savannah will be. She may want to cut off my balls as I know Savannah would have told her. But I am making something that shouldn't have happened disappear. That bitch thinks she can control me well she's got another thing coming.

Stepping outside I see Jen and Greg talking to Nathan Anders from the baseball team, while Selena and Lucas are on the made-up dance floor over our swimming pool. But I cannot see Savannah. She couldn't have left, could she?
