A Little Cinderella Moment

Chapter 21

Savannah P.O.V

I don't know what I witnessed when I arrived at school today. I saw a huge crowd surrounding Chase and Candace and I wanted no part of it, so I kept walking forward. But when I was looking at what was going on Chase turned around and looked at me and I couldn't read his face, but Jen I could she wanted to cut a bitch I know that face. 

The face Jen pulled is the same face my friend from home pulled when Ocean was fighting, she had a face that meant do not mess with me. Ocean used to do karate but stopped due to an injury and now she's too protective of her injury she quit. But anyway, back to Jen I know never mess with a woman when she's got that face on maybe later, I'll ask her what happened and if there is anything I can do to help. 

Walking into the school I head straight for my locker, and I will make sure this time that I won't bump into anybody. With succession, I did just that I reached my locker without any disruptions. Opening my locker so I can put things inside and grab things out I prepare myself for a long day ahead of me I can feel it. Shutting my locker Jen is standing there and she made me jump out of my skin. "Good morning sunshine sleep well?" 

"For the love of Jen must you scare me this early in the morning." 

She laughs at me "Oh come on it's not that early and we need to talk about what happened last night between you and my brother." 

I don't know what Chase told her but there is nothing really to tell because nothing happened. We both walked away from my locker where we're going? not sure, but we're just going with the flow. 

"Jen sorry to disappoint you but nothing happened." 

"True right nothing better have happened." 

We turn around to see Candace standing right behind us, "I'm only gonna tell you this once new bitch stay away from my man, he will come back to me cos he knows I'm the best thing to ever happen to him." 

"Oh, Candace get over yourself he dumped your sorry ass he's not getting back together with a cheating bitch like you." 

"Oh, Jen sweet little Jen, Jen don't be so naïve your brother will come back to me just you wait and see," Just as it started Candace walks away laughing. 

"One day I just wish I have the chance to slap that evil bitch smile off her face." 

"Um... I don't think Chase would like that he's so protective of you." 

"Just like I am of him and there's no way in hell is he ever gonna get back with that cheating dirt bag. Mark my word for it I'd rather stab myself in the eyes and go blind than see him back with her." 

Damn Jen is wound up so tight 'cause of that girl, I haven't done anything wrong to her I don't know why she's out to get me, I would rather stay away from her than cause any problems. I don't want to be a burden to the Lockwoods.

"Hey guys there you are" Selena comes running towards us. 

"Hey girl how's it going?" 

"It's going great saw some things that's blowing up on the net." She shoves her phone in our direction to only see the video of what happened outside is trending worldwide with #crazybitch and #teamchase. I honestly hope Candace does not blame this on me as I had nothing to do with it. 

"Oh, that's fantastic Greg has done some amazing work by the end of the day she's gonna be crying in a ditch, nobody hurts my brother and gets away with it." 

"Jen, I know you have something to tell me about last night but do it later I have something I wanna ask you guys." 

"Sure, what is it?" I'm intrigued to hear what Selena wants to ask us. 

"Do you wanna sign up for the dance committee to plan the winter formal?" 

The dance committee that sounds like fun I never had a chance to do anything like this back home and I love to plan a good party. 

"Yeah, I'm up for it sounds like fun I've never had a chance to get on the dance committee back in North Carolina." 

"Great Sav is in. How about you Jen?" Jen looks at the two of us smiles and nods. 

"Oh, hell yeah I'm in no way am I turning down this opportunity." 

"Perfect I'll sign us up this dance is gonna be epic I can feel it." 

Just as we agreed to sign up for the dance committee the bell rang for first period. So, I head on off to English. Fifth period today is Philosophy with Mr. Waterston so this will be an interesting one today. Always wanted to study philosophy but the class was always full I'm thankful I've got into this elective. 

I've heard that Mr. Waterston is a hard teacher to get on with, but he knows what he is talking about. That is one thing I like in a teacher if he doesn't give up on his students, I'm prepared to put in all the work.
