Logan entered the Dean's office and closed the door behind him.

The Dean looked up when he walked in the room before getting up from his seat.

"Logan, it's so good to have you back." He shook his hand then gestured to the empty chair.

Logan sat down, then waited for him to retake his seat. He glanced around the room and recalled the day when he first came here. It felt like such a long time ago.

"There's a family emergency that I need to deal with at the moment."

"I hope everything is okay?"

"Nothing to worry about."

"How is this family emergency?"

"A couple of days."

The Dean sighed, "To tell you the truth, I hadn't expected you to come back so soon. Take all the time you need. I'll have my secretary send your work by email."

"Thanks." Logan got up but hesitated for a second. "The room next to mine, has anyone been there lately?"

"I was told the student that was staying in that room has been absent for a while now."

"For how long?"

"Since the day after you left with that cop."

He should tell Kyle. Maybe there was something in that room that could be useful.

"Thanks again."

Logan exited the office, and waved goodbye to the secretary. Out in the hallway, his Aunt Tara was talking to one of his teachers. He approached the duo.

"Aunt Tara, what's going on?"

"Nothing. Just talking to your teacher.

"It's was good seeing you Logan."

The pair left the building and headed to the car. Since Dirk was in prison, and his men dead, Logan could finally breathe without worrying. He took a deep breath, inhaling the crisp air.

"It feels good."

"What feels good?"

He glanced at his Aunt, to find her staring at him.

"To be here."

Aunt Tara smiled at him before giving him a hug. "I'm happy you're feeling better."

"I know that I shouldn't be happy because Aaron is missing. But I have a feeling that Aaron is on his way home."

"Pete ran a line through the last name on the paper. "All these places doesn't exist anymore."

"I found three on here that's still around."

Pete got up and walked over to where Mitch was sitting, leaning closer over his shoulder to get a better view of the paper in his hand.

"I only recognize this building." He pointed to the last name on the paper. "It's not too far from Ramco building. Do you want to check it out?"

When there was no answer from Mitch, he looked down at him. Pete felt his heart thump at Mitch's gaze.

"Mitch, are you okay?"

Mitch stared up at him silently for a minute, then stood up. The chair rocked on its legs but didn't tumble over.

"Do you really not know or are you totally clueless about it?"

Pete took a step back. "I don't know what you're talking about."

He turned to move away but Mitch's hand snaked out to grab his arm, tugging him back against his body.

"This cat and mouse game is going to end soon." Mitch released his arm, then grabbed the paper on the table.

Pete watched his retreating back for a second before picking up his bag and following him out the door.

Thirty minutes later Mitch pulled into the parking lot of Covent Garden. Pete got out the vehicle and walked alongside Mitch through the doors. The bright interior of the building was a stark contrast to the exterior. The air-conditioning was high enough to make him shiver.

They headed towards the front desk to speak to the receptionist.

After speaking with the receptionist, they took the elevator to he manager's office which was located on the tenth floor. Pete kept distance between them on the ride up. He was wary that Mitch would try something since they were alone in the elevator. Pete eyed him from the corner of his eyes. The man was standing there oozing sex appeal.

How was he supposed to get over this feeling if Mitch kept appearing around him?

"I can feel you staring at me."

Pete's head jerked up. "I'm not staring at you."

Mitch edged closer to him, cornering him.

Pete tried to back away but there was no where to go. Mitch's hand encircled his neck, his thumb caressing his jaw as he gazed down at him.

"Really?"

Mitch lowered his head and kissed him. Pete tried to twist his head but Mitch's hand tightened around his neck. Pete surrendered to the kiss, forgetting about trying to put distance between them.

Pete moaned into his mouth when Mitch pulled him closer, hungrily devouring his mouth. For a moment he lost himself in Mitch but reality broke the spell when the elevator dinged announcing their arrival to the tenth floor. Pete's hands shot out to push him away.

He was surprised Mitch stepped away without resisting. The door opened he hastily exited the elevator. He could hear Mitch's footsteps right behind him but he didn't look back.

The manager's office was located at the end of the hallway. Pete knocked on the door and waited.

The sound of footsteps grew closer then the door swung open, revealing a man in his late fifties.

"I'm Mr. Simon. How can I help you?"

Pete showed his badge. "We're here to ask a few questions."

"Why don't you come inside?"

They entered his office and he pointed to two chairs. "You can take a seat."

Mitch declined the offer but Pete took a seat on one of the chairs.

"We've been trying to locate your boss for a while now but he seem to have left the country."

"He had to take a last minute business trip. If there's any problems, I can try to help in any way that I can."

Pete had learned over the years to be wary of certain people. He eyed Mr. Simon, watching for any signs of ill- intentions.

"How long have you been working here?"

"I've been working here for twenty-five years."

"So, you were working for George Boyd before he went to prison?"

Pete noticed the subtle shift in his expression.
