Chapter 76

Aaron removed his shirt to check the wrapped bandage. There was a slight blood stain from when he had hit it on the closet in Logan's bedroom. He flexed his arm, hissing at the pain it brought. He quickly put on his shirt when he heard footsteps approaching, before there was a knock on the bathroom door.

"Aaron, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, I'm good. Give me a minute."

When Logan's footsteps retreated from the door, Aaron grabbed the bottle from his bag and took two pills for the pain. He went downstairs to find Logan sitting on the couch, watching the television.

He grabbed the remote to mute the sound. "How long will we have to stay here?"

"Just until we arrest Dirk and his accomplices."

"Do you think we're safe here?"

"I do." Aaron pulled Logan to his feet and gave him a hug. "Why don't you go take a shower. I'll make us something to eat."

He watched Logan walked up the stairs before walking over to the drawer to take the burner phone he had bought a month ago. He took his phone from the table and dialed Kyle's number.

"Are you guys okay?" Kyle asked when he answered the phone.

"We're good. Did you get everything I asked?"

"Yeah, I did."

"Good. We'll be here waiting for you."

"I'll be there later tonight."

"Tell Detective Finn that plan b has been activated and to inform Logan's family."

"I will."

Aaron ended the call and turned off his phone. He went into the kitchen to get started on dinner. While cooking, his mind went to those guys that had chase after them. He knew Dirk had tried to find out his identity. His records would show that he was an ordinary college student.

How long will it remain that way?

There was someone from the police working with Dirk. He hoped Kaia's friend would be able to find out the identity of this corrupt cop. He sensed Logan walking up behind but pretended he was unaware of his presence. When Logan was close enough, he spun around and wrapped his arms around his waist.

Logan let out a surprised gasp. "I thought I hadn't make any noise."

Aaron grinned at him. "Better luck next time."

"You have ears of a bat." Logan leaned forward to bite the tip of his ear.

"And they are very sensitive." Aaron pulled him between his open legs so Logan's back was against his front. He nipped at Logan's neck. "How was your shower?"

"It was good. Next time, join me."

Aaron kissed his neck but didn't reply. Logan had no idea what they had in store for him. "Dinner is almost ready. Why don't you have a seat on the couch?"

"Will Kyle be joining us?"

"He'll be here later."

Aaron concentrated on cooking while Logan occupied himself with the television. When dinner was finished, he placed two plates on the small table facing the television.

"This looks good." Logan leaned closer to inhale the aroma. He forked up some pasta and took a bite. After swallowing Logan looked at him. "Can you teach me how to cook?"

"Sure. We can start with basic dishes."

They continued eating while making small conversations. When dinner was over, Logan volunteered to wash the dishes.

By nightfall, Aaron was walking around the house, making sure all the doors were locked and secured.

He had previously installed cameras all over the property. Logan was inside watching a movie. After a thorough inspection he went back inside just as the burner phone started ringing.

Knowing it was Kyle calling, Aaron quickly answered the phone.

"Are you here?"

"I'm just coming down the road."

"Okay. I'm waiting for you by the door."

Aaron hung up the phone and leaned against the door. Keeping a watchful eye out, he spotted Kyle's plain van driving up the driveway.

Kyle exited the vehicle and walked up the steps to the house, holding two bags. He unlocked the door to let him inside. Kyle dropped both bags to the floor to pull Aaron into his arms.

"Kyle, not too rough. I'm still injured."

Kyle gripped his face with both hands and fused their mouths together. Kyle kissed him as though he was trying to imprint Aaron's taste into his body. Aaron kissed him back because he knew Kyle needed to be reassured that he was fine.

After being nearly deprived of oxygen, Kyle finally pulled away only to stalk over to Logan and grab him in a kiss. Aaron shook his head, watching them kiss. Kyle being more gentle with Logan.

"Now that you're here. I'm going to take a shower." Aaron double checked the door before moving towards the stairs.

"Do you want company?"

"There's food on the stove. Eat it then take a shower." He ignored Kyle's question before heading upstairs.

Once in the bathroom, Aaron stripped out of his clothes then stepped in the shower. He debated about taking a bath but opted for a shower instead. He turned the faucet then adjusted the temperature to cooler. Kyle had heated his body a little too much.

Aaron heard the bathroom door opened. He twisted his body and saw Kyle entering, his eyes trailing down his naked body through the transparent shower curtain.

"What is it Kyle?"

"Logan thought we should be alone for a while." Kyle took off his clothes, dropping them in the laundry basket.

Did Logan really sent the devil to play with him?

"Kyle, don't you dare come over here."

With a smirk on his face, Kyle pushed aside the curtain. "You know I'm always up for a challenge." He drew closer to him, using a finger to trail down his chest.

Aaron twisted his head when he tried to kiss him. But that was a mistake. Kyle's lips attached to his neck, sucking hard on the flesh. A current of pleasure zoomed through his body and straight to his cock.
