Aaron slowly turned around to look at Logan. "I told you not to follow me."
Logan's eyes trailed over his upper body.
"Aaron, what happened to you?"
He had hoped that he would be able to hide his injuries before anyone saw them.
"I had to go through a few tests."
"What kind of tests?" Logan asked, moving closer to him.
"It's nothing to worry about?"
Logan ran a hand over the front of his body, avoiding the gauze.
"I wasn't quick enough and a knife caught me across my lower back."
"What about that bruise here?"
Aaron looked down at the discolored bruise on his ribs area. It hurt like hell but he knew none of his ribs were broken.
"Logan, I need to take a shower. I'll explain everything when Kyle is here."
"He's on his way with your family."
"I know." Something he wanted to avoid but knew it was inevitable.
"Okay, I'll be waiting for you in the living-room."
Aaron leaned forward and gave him a light kiss, unable to resist.
"I'll be out shortly."
"Okay," Logan's lips covered his in a long warm kiss.
The door closed behind him, leaving Aaron in the quiet room. He took off the rest of his clothes, then headed for the shower. He twisted the faucet handle and lifted his face to the warm water.
He was in the process of lathering his skin when the door to the bathroom burst open.
Before he could shut off the water, the shower curtain was shoved to the side. There stood Kyle staring at him.
"Kyle, it's really..."
Kyle jumped in the shower fully clothed and grabbed him, embracing him in a tight hold. For a moment they cling together before Kyle pressed their mouths in a consuming kiss.
Aaron melted in his embrace, returning his hungry kiss.
Kyle nibbled on his lower lip then deepened the kiss. He practically devoured his mouth, refusing to let him go. Only the need for air had Kyle loosening his tight hold.
"I miss you so much." Kyle pressed a kiss to both his cheeks, forehead and nose. "I miss you so much."
"I miss you too. But you couldn't you wait until I got out the shower. Now you're soaking wet."
"I don't care." Kyle dipped his head into the crook of his neck.
"Can you at least let me rinse the soap off?"
Kyle unhooked the shower head and aimed the spray at his body, washing off the soapy suds.
Aaron had his head bent down so he didn't see the look on Kyle's face but he felt when his hands touched the bruises on his back.
"Was it Justin that did this to you?"
He glanced at Kyle who was barely containing his rage. Logan took the shower head from his hands and put a hand to his face. Green eyes stared at him with turbulent emotions swirling in their depths.
"No, he didn't hurt me." Aaron turned off the faucet. "Help me change the bandage. I'll explain everything when we're with the others."
"Okay," Kyle stepped out the shower soaking wet. He removed his wet clothes before exiting the bathroom.
"Are my parents out there?"
"The whole gang. They're eager to see you."
After drying his skin, Aaron laid on his stomach so Kyle could change the bandage.
"I was so scared when you got kidnapped."
Aaron let him talk. This was Kyle's way of trying to soothe his wayward emotions. When he was finished, Aaron quickly got dressed.
"Don't mention anything about my injuries. I don't want my mom worrying."
"Have you met your family?"
Aaron laughed at his incredulous expression. He grasped their hands together as they exited the bedroom to meet his father in a heated argument with Theo. He rushed forward when his father grabbed Theo's shirt with his hands.
"Dad, what are you doing?"
Tim spun around at the sound of his voice. He enveloped him in a hug. "Son, are you okay?"
Aaron tried not to wince when he squeezed him too tightly. "Dad, I'm good."
His mom was standing there sobbing with her hands covering her face. He held out his arms to her, waiting for her to come hug him.
She shuffled over to him and his arms encircled her frame.
Aaron rubbed her back soothingly as she continued to cry.
"Mom, I'm really fine."
Pamela lifted her head to look up at him. She lifted a hand to rest against his cheek. "You're my baby. I still need to make sure."
Aaron spotted his two older brothers over her shoulder staring daggers at Theo. He kissed her on her forehead before stepping back albeit with difficulty since his mom refused to let him go.
"I want you to leave Theo alone. He was the one that helped me escaped."
Harold stepped forward to give him a hug. "I'm happy you're here."
"I miss you too, Uncle Harold."
"Kevin is on protective duty."
Kaia was the last person to hug him. She didn't cry but Aaron knew that was only because she never cried in public.
"We'll talk later." Aaron whispered before giving her a kiss on the cheek.
She gave him a slight nod."I don't want you guys ganging up on Theo. He wasn't the one that kidnapped me."
Ryan glanced at Theo. "I don't trust him."
"I trust him."
"How did you managed to escape?"
"With a lot of planning."
Aaron spent the next fifteen days telling them how Theo helped him plan his escape. He told them everything, but omitted the part about Justin drugging him.
"Justin has a twin brother name Stephen." Harold told him.
"I know."
"He's went off the grid."
Aaron braced himself and looked at his family. "I need to talk to you about something important."
"What do you want to tell us?"
With his hands folded, Aaron glanced at Kyle and Logan, then back at his family.
"I was drugged and raped while in the academy."
