Justin aimed his gun at the guard he left outside Aaron's door. White hot anger burn inside him that Aaron had managed to slip through his fingers. With the help of his brother.

"I gave you a specific order. Not to let anyone go in his room."

"He knocked me out from the behind."

Justin stared at him for a while then lowered his gun. Theo had actually betrayed him for Aaron.

"I know where they went but It's too risky right now. I want everyone in the meeting room in ten minutes."

Aiming a cold look around the room, he left for his office. He strode into the room and slammed the door shut with enough force that the door rattled from the impact.

He went over to his desk and took a seat. He pulled the drawer open to get the envelope he had stashed there. Aaron won't be getting away that easily.

Logan crossed to the window and stared out at the rain. The weather had been calm showing no signs that it would start raining. He glanced at his phone. It's been fifteen minutes since Aaron called him. He had no idea how far away he was from the apartment.

He dialed Kyle's number and it rang three times before he finally picked up.

"Logan, I'm sorry for taking so long to answer. Is everything okay?"

"Did you look at your phone?"

"No, I haven't."

"Aaron just called me. He's on his way to the apartment."

"What do you mean he's on his way to the apartment?"

"He escaped."

"I'm going to call Harold and his family. I'll call you back in a few minutes."

When the call ended, Logan left the apartment and headed downstairs to the lobby. It was still early, so there were quite a few people walking around the lobby. He sat down on one of the chairs close to the door.

Nervous anticipation filled him until his knees shook. He got up and walked closer to the door, so he could have a clear view of the outside.  It was still raining.

Logan saw a car pulled to a stop outside the building and froze. His eyes remained on the vehicle as the doors opened and Aaron stepped out. Logan dashed outside into the pouring rain.

"Aaron!" He shouted, elation coloring his voice.

Aaron's arms engulfed him in a tight hug. Logan returned the embrace, never imagining anything could feel so right despite the rain and the cold.

Aaron pulled back to look at him, a wide smile on his handsome face.

"Let's get the hell out of this drenching rain."

Logan heard the driver's side door opened and closed but didn't pay any attention. He grabbed Aaron's hand in his then turned to walk up the steps of the building. His footsteps halted when he saw Theo standing behind them.

Instinctively, Logan step in front of Aaron. "Why are you here?"

"Logan, it's okay. I'll explain everything when we get to the apartment."

Logan eyed Theo warily for a moment before looking at Aaron.

"Are you sure that we can trust him?"

"Yes, I'm sure."

They entered the lobby and made their way to the elevator. Logan kept  his gaze on Theo, ready for any attack. Aaron had teach him enough self-defense for him to protect himself.

It was quiet on the way up, but Logan didn't care. Even when the doors opened, he still had a tight grip on Aaron's hand.

"My family is inside." Logan told him.

"It's fine."

Logan twisted the handle then pushed the door open. He stepped to the side, allowing Aaron to enter first. His hands itched to slam the door in Theo's face but he refrained himself.

"Logan, I was wondering if you wanted..." Emma's voice trailed off when she saw Aaron standing in the middle of the room.

"Hey, Emma. How have you been doing?"

Emma's gaze darted from him to Aaron before she marched across the living-room to give Aaron a hug.

"It's good to see you. I'm really glad you're back home."

Aaron gave her a hug. "Thanks, I'm happy to be home."

Logan's phone rang and he glanced at the screen. He put the phone to his ear.

"Is Aaron there?"

"Yes, he is."

"I'll be there in ten minutes. The others are right behind me."

"Okay, I'll see you then."

Emma smiled at him then her gaze shifted to stare at Theo. Her head tilted to the side, a frown marring her face.

"Who are you?"

"He's a friend."

Emma glanced at him. "I'm going to be in the bedroom."

"Okay."

She gave him a quick smile then disappeared into the bedroom.

Logan still had his doubts about Theo but if Aaron trusted him then he would try to be cordial.

He looked down at their clasped hand when Aaron's hand shook.

"Aaron, are you okay?"

"I'm good. But I think I should take a shower."

"I'll go with you."

"It's fine. Stay here."

Theo took a small step forward. "I don't think you should be alone right now."

"Guys, I'm just going to take a shower."

Logan watched him walk away, and it took every ounce of his being not to run after him.

"He shouldn't be alone."

Logan turned toward Theo with suspicion. "Why?"

"His wounds haven't healed."

"What the hell did you guys do to him?"

Logan didn't wait for a reply, he strode towards the bedroom door and entered without knocking.

Aaron was standing in the middle of the room, his back was to him.

The sight of Aaron naked from the waist made him stop. His eyes swept over his body, lingering on his back.

"What happened to you?"
