"Thanks for the ride." Logan grabbed his bag from the backseat and climbed out the car. He closed the door and turned to walk away when he heard the car door opening.

He didn't look back; just continued walking. The right side of his face was still tingling from where Aaron touched him. He had been asleep but then had felt the light touch on his face.

Logan was surprised that Aaron hadn't heard his heart thumping in his chest. He was walking across the lobby to the elevator when he saw that guy from last time heading in their direction.

Logan frowned at the smile on the guy's face. He stopped walking so he could hear their conversation.

"Hey, Aaron. What's up?"

"Nothing much, Theo."

"Do you have time for us to talk?"

Logan scoffed at his question. Why would Aaron have time for him?

"I'm busy at the moment."

"Okay, then. I'll call you later."

Logan gritted his teeth, but stayed silent. Aaron belonged to him, no one else.

Why does he have Aaron's number?

Logan tried to keep his face neutral but his expression must have showed because Theo gave him a mocking smile.

"Aaron, I'm leaving." Logan told him then walked briskly to the elevator, refusing to look back. The doors opened and Logan entered the elevator.

Logan thought Aaron would stay behind but he was already entering the elevator before it closed. He kept his head straight forward, eyes glued to the front.

"Did you tell me the truth about Theo?"

"What do you mean?"

Logan spun around to face him. "You told me that you didn't know him. Are you sure about that?"

"I don't know him."

"He doesn't act that way."

Logan remembered the smile on Theo's face. He should have knocked that smile right off his face.

"Logan, I really don't know him. He told me that he was my brother. But I don't have any siblings."

The doors opened and he stepped out the elevator. The hallway was empty but he could hear students in their rooms as he passed by. He walked to his door with his keys in his hand.

Aaron grab a hold of his hand, pulling him to a stop. "Wait, don't move." He pulled him away from the door and stepped in front of him.

Logan watched him put a hand underneath his jacket before extending a hand to the door. He pushed lightly against the door and it slowly swung open.

"Stay behind me."

Aaron removed his hand before entering the room. Logan followed closely behind, eyes darting left and right. The place looked just as he had left it this morning.

Did he left the door opened?

Aaron walked to his bedroom and paused at the door. He brought his right hand up and Logan saw something glinting in his hand. He tried to get a closer look but it was half concealed.

"Stay here. Don't move from the door."

Aaron turned the door handle and opened the door to his bedroom. He cautiously entered the room, eyes sweeping around as though he was searching for something. He walked to the bathroom door then stopped with his hand on the handle.

Logan stayed close to the door, his body halfway out the door. Aaron flipped the light switch, encasing the room with light before disappearing into the bathroom. As he waited for Aaron, Logan heard something bang against the wall from inside his closet.

Aaron exited the bathroom, putting a finger to his mouth. Aaron took lithe steps to the closet, hands out in front of his body in a stance. Logan held his breath as Aaron inched his way forward. Just as he reached out a hand to grab the handle, the door was flung open.

A masked figure dressed in all black jumped out from behind the closet door.

Aaron launched himself sideways as a knife was swung toward him. He brought his hand up and pointed a gun at the intruder.

It was gun he had hidden.

"Drop the knife!" Aaron kept the gun aimed stealthily at the intruder.

The intruder paused for a minute then took slow steps backward to where he was standing. Logan gasped and turned to run. The intruder ran after him, footsteps echoing like loud bombs behind him. Before he reached the entrance of the door, there was a grunt followed by a heavy thud.

Logan spun around in a panic but Aaron had the intruder on the floor.

"Don't move."

The intruder struggled to get free but no such luck.

"I told you not to move or I'll break damn your arm." Aaron growled in anger, hands twisting the arm he was holding, making the intruder howl in pain. He reached forward to remove the mask.

Logan didn't recognized the person in front of him.

"Why were you in here?" Aaron asked.

"I was just looking for something to steal, that's all."

"How did you get in my room?" Logan asked looking at the door then down at the person on the floor.

"It was unlocked."

So, he did forget to lock the door. He was in such a rush that he didn't check to make sure he had locked it.

Aaron looked up at him with a fierce expression on his face and Logan looked away guiltily. He should have been more attentive to what he was doing.

What if he had come home alone?

"Call campus security and let them know that there's a burglar inside your dorm."

"Really, can't you just let me go."

Logan knew that Aaron being a cop wouldn't release him, no matter how trivial the matter.

"Call the security guard."

Logan nodded his head before calling security. He dialed the extension number and told the security guard everything Aaron told him. When he hung up, Aaron had tied the intruder's hands behind his back.

Twenty minutes later, there was a knock at the door. Logan looked through the peephole and saw the guard on the other side. He opened the door to let the security guard inside his dorm. He walked over to where Aaron was holding the intruder.

"Was anything stolen?"

"He didn't have anything on him."

Aaron handed the thief over to the security guard who gave him a nod before leaving.

"Search your things and let me know if anything is missing."

"Okay."
